“Great church”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

I had to see where Guy Fawkes was baptised, this church is near the York Minister and has similar architecture, definitely worth the visit.

“Lovely”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Wonderful church so much history. I love looking at older buildings in York. Nothing quite so old in Halifax Nova Scotia that I know of at least.

“a little gem”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

Often overlooked its neighbour, the minster, this is a lovely little church with similar architecture. Quiet, peaceful church, nice windows but less grand than minster.

“Delightful and welcoming”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

St. Michael's reminds us of Old North Church in Boston with its wooden boxes for worshipers. It features a lively, energetic community of worshipers who want to spread their message in the 21st century. Don't be fooled by its 18th century decor--this is a place to be inspired today.

“Guy Fawkes”
Reviewed 7 March 2014

This is where Guy Fawkes was baptised. Your history lesson starts here. A small church in the shadow of the Minster but still worth visiting.
