room lovely, nice big bed. Had meal deal, 3 couse eve meal with wine, perfectly acceptable. Breakfast wonderful. Reasonable parkin facilities. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Th hotel is situated in good location for getting into York, close to the Wall. You have to go outside to Premier next door to access the dining room but there is a costa coffee on the premisis
would go back again.

Room Tip: nice quiet rooms

Stayed in a family room for three nights and have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. We arrived an hour earlier that the two o'clock check in time, but as our room was ready they were more than happy for us to check in early. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant were great.
We arrived in York by train and the hotel was a short walk from the station and a slightly longer walk from the city centre but nothing to trouble my 5 year old. In fact everywhere was walkable so no buses or taxis were needed.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, and my two children are already askiing when we can go again.

Stayed one night, 27th August. Hotel very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff professional and efficient. Will stay there again. This hotel is in really good location, next to the train station and a 10 minute walk into town. There are plenty of eating places around the hotel. Car park is £8, reasonable charge. We felt safe leaving the car in car park as it has a security camera.

Room Tip: Room overlooking courtyard very quiet

Stayed over the Bank Hoilday weekend and was disgusted with a price tag of £130+ per night. Room was usual Premier Inn but a bit tired looking and had the smell of fried food wafting up to the room. Staff were lovely and helpful but even that couldn't help me stop feeling ripped off.

Room Tip: Overlooking the courtyard rooms are much nicer and quieter.

Great Location for York Centre. Great Premier Inn, everything you would expect and more. Breakfast was Brilliant. Member of Staff went out of her way to make us feel at home at Breakfast. We were a family and it was a busy race weekend that we were not part of..I wold suggest avoid Race weekends unless you are attending as the place gets swamped by Yuppies.

Stayed a couple of nights. Hotel very welcoming and friendly. Room over the courtyard was very clean and well equipped. We didnt eat breakfast in the hotel, there is a Weatherspoons across the road which offers a good deal. Parking is a bit pricey £17 for the weekend. But the location is very central, close to city walls, centre and the railway station. Quite pricey for a Premier Inn, the big poster on the entrance says rooms from £29 - ha ha, we paid closer to £90.

This hotel is in really good location, next to the train station and a 10 minute walk into town. When we checked in, our room was miles away and had to go down/up steps to get to/from our room, with a pushchair, this was going to be hard so we spoke to reception, they quickly resolved the issue and put us in another room. Our daughter has a bottle of full fat milk at 7am every morning so when we asked where we could get some, the receptionist said to go to the costa coffee, which we did, and the chap there was really nice, he even gave it to us for free.

You get 30 mins free wi fi and then have to pay £3.00 for 24 hours, wifi was really quick, managed to watch a few programmes on our ipad.

We ate at the table table restaurant, meals were also good (for a chain restaurant).

One tiny downside, our bathroom wasn't cleaned for arrival or on the following day, nor was it hoovered, the cleaners basically tided up the bed and emptied the bins. I noted this with reception as we left (wasn't a big issue), they said they would refund us for one night.
