Called in here for a coffee stop as had read reviews. Desperately disappointed ! Totally dull environment in every sense, Formica table from 50's without the retro vibe. Americano lack lustre.

Up a small flight of stairs and well worth the climb! We only had tea (served in a lovely pot with hot water to add), coffee (my husband won't sleep for a month - it knocked his socks off!), toasted tea cake (beautiful cinnamon flavour) and shortbread. We noticed others receiving their orders which looked beautiful and very large portions!! We wished we hadn't been so full of English Breakfast from our B & B as we would have loved to have sampled the delicious, fresh looking lunches served here. We'll just have to come back!

What a great little coffee shop. On the face of it, this little restaurant is hard to find and looks quite ordinary but inside coffee drinkers will find a paradise of flavours served by experts. This is one of the best small coffee houses in the area and a must for die-hard coffee connoisseurs.
I visited on the recommendations of a coffee expert from Dorset and was glad I made the effort. Don't be put off by the local roadworks!

It came as quite a surprise to stumble upon a review that revealed this establishment employed a World Barista Champion for 2013. Hopes were high then on being served the finest cappuccino I had ever or was ever going to taste. A big ask indeed, and although I don't think it was prepared by the Champion himself it did tick all the main boxes - was it perfection itself? - maybe not quite, but then I would be nit-picking. However, my review is not intended to dissect but to applaud so mention must also be made of the quality and presentation of food - the mozzarella and pesto wrap was delicious as we're the olives and bread selection all deliciously washed down with a glass of well chilled prosecco. Finishing with a wedge of homemade lemon and orange sponge cake made a delightful accompaniment to the cappuccino in completing the experience.
Being accessed by a couple of flights of stairs 'The Attic' is aptly named and as well as being small and unassuming, it has a pleasing and friendly atmosphere and one which I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a tea around lunch time, was very busy but seating available. Didnt try the food as we had planned to eat later, but menu looked lovely with a great choice.
