I had no idea this garden was so big! It goes on for ever - or I should say, they go on forever. Individual gardens which are at their best at different times of the year is an inspired idea. We never did get right round - so it's a return visit asap. The ladies in the café deserve a medal. They dealt with a coach party which arrived just ahead of us with good humour and excellent service although it must have been quite a demanding task. Well done girls!

As a full time gardener at a large private house I can appreciate the work involved with these gardens. It’s so well layed out and a real pleasure to walk round. The labelling is great, l’m constantly testing myself on plant names. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

These gardens at beautiful so many varieties of flowers and shrubs and trees nice layout
easy to walk round and plenty of benches to rest and take it all in.Just one downside if you visit on Monday or Tuesday the cafe is closed and nowhere to get tea or coffee you are not told this when you phone about opening times.Still a lovery place to visit but i am sure a lot of people would enjoy it more with a cuppa.

Everything about this garden is wonderful.. Every turn offers something different...Such colours, perfumes, landscaping contrasts. Bird song, plenty of tadpoles & georgous blue dragonflies in the 'work in progress' pond section & so many bumblebees throughout. Each turn of the corner or new section brought further surprises.. The White Rose water fountain was a cool oasis on this hot day.. Plenty of shaded areas to escape the sun.. A thoroughly enjoyable 4hrs at a reasonable price of £7. The humourious signs dotted about were laughable specially the pond one hoping the gardens elves would finish the work but my favourite one has to be the June garden which clearly states....dont bother to view after June as the flowers have finished, you've missed it & now it looks rubbish. Only disappointment was the Rose garden but that's not the roses fault.... we just visited before they'd bloomed...

Great afternoon spent wandering around the gardens, beautiful themed gardens that have been thoughtfully brought together. There are plenty of places to sit & contemplate your surroundings. It is wheelchair accessible, some paths are easier than others & there are signs saying if the path is not suitable.
Lovely cafe serving freshly prepared light snacks & cakes.
