we (family of 4), appreciated the 2 nights, close to the center of the city in a very quite area. No problem to park the car, and the house is in compliance with the ad.

1 review Very comfortable terraced house, 10-15 minutes walking distance to city centre. Free parking outside house. Clean rooms and modern kitchen and bathroom. Great shower and lots of hot water! Local parade of shops nearby including excellent fish and chip shop. Really good base for couple/small family. Easy access out of York by car. Recommended self-catering house.

1 review Lovely house has everything you need as a base for visiting York. Only a 15 min walk to the centre of York . Shops nearby, would recommend the local butcher for their sausages & bacon

Clean house about 10 minutes walk from the town center. Easy free parking. We stayed for 3 nights and it worked out great for our needs. Landlords are approachable too.

Very nice comfy house. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Very accessible to town. Nice bathroom and bedrooms. Nicely modernised. Nice touch a bottle of wine. Would certainly recommend to other people. Most certainly would stay there again.
Parking available outside house which was a plus.

Fantastic had everything we wanted. Great location, walk to the Minster is 5 mins. Easy shopping easy excursions.

The house was exactly every thing the owner advertised, down to the exact distance from York to the free parking outside the house. The house itself was very well presented and the facilities inside were of an excellent standard. I liked the welcome package and the fact there was tea, coffee and sugar provided (was not expecting that). There was lots of leaflets provided to enable us to plan our stay, and the information pack was extremely detailed and very helpful. The owner showed us around the property and left promptly so we could unpack with out feeling awkward.
All in all I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who would like something of a home feel, rather than a soulless hotel room.
