We received a very warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door of this golf club. The waiting staff for breakfast are courteous and helpful as we tucked in to a pre-18 hole breakfast and coffee. The course is challenging at times but well worth it.... It is beautifully maintained even after a difficult winter with snow and rain. The greens all run true and the fairways are long in comparison to many courses we have played but again maintained by an obviously meticulous green keeping team. The welcome in the bar after was friendly and professional and we can all recommend some of Yorkshire's finest ales on offer. We opted to have our lunch in the bar but there is a choice of bar, dining room, lounge or outside on a warmer day overlooking the 18th. Therefore another visit in the summer is in order. All in all a wonderful day out enjoyed by all. Thank you
