We ate here on a Sunday evening. The food and service were absolutely amazing. This was recommended by a friend and I’m glad I listened to him. The setting was beautiful by the river.
The roast beef I had was outstanding and so were the meals my family had.
Will definitely go back the next time I visit the beautiful city of York

The location is perfect, the foods are great, staffs are friendly and accommodating. It was a lovely experience indeed

Visited with a table of 6 the service was fast but then slow
I had fish and chips the batter was very heavy and fish tasted frozen and greasy batter with cold chips at 16 pounds plus 12.5%service charge not to good
For me this place should be high level food similar to its orgional
Resteraunt in North Yorkshire I think they have the concept wrong all my buusness friends said there foid was just ok

Was struggling to get in many places on a Sunday evening rung here on a recommendation the food was excellent, the service was among the best I’ve experienced and an all round awesome place.
Had 2 courses me and my wife including the Sunday Roasts and everything was stunning the roast beef was literally to die for! Gorgeous setting too!

Visited this restaurant with my husband for my birthday. Sat on terrace overlooking the river in the sunshine with a drink beforehand. Beautiful if quirky restaurant, staff were excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The waitress was lovely, she noticed my birthday badge and brought out a plate of fruit and truffles with a birthday message! Well done! Will return on our next visit to York.
