Right in the heart of York, only 5 mins walk from the Minster. Beautifully appointed with good quality fixtures. Beds are very comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.
Loved staying at St Denys View ! This is a beautiful house so comfortable and well equipped . Minutes into town on foot and right on the doorstep of some great restaurants on Walmgate . Although you can't park outside it's easy to stop to off load your bags before you park up around the corner . The house has everything you need - great bathroom and kitchen and comfortable beds with lovely linen . I visit York regularly and will be back !
House was clean tidy and we'll presented, modernised kitchen/ bathroom. Perfect base for me and my husband to explore York. In fact the church opposite has apparently got the oldest arches in York (1000 years old) said the tour guide to some tourists as we left the house this morning.
Excellent location; round the corner from the start of the shops and only 5 mins walk to the Shambles but far enough not to be noisy at the house.
Great communications with Owners/managers and good instructions for getting in and parking. Would definitely come back again! Thankyou!
Lovely rental property - very comfy beds and bedding. Kitchen well equipped with lovely crockery. One negative point was the living room seating other than one 2 seater settee was very uncomfortable. Fantastic location walking distance to loads of restaurants and the main centre.
Just came back from a superb weekend in york for my mums birthday. Staying at St Denys apartment. they are very well equipped, nicely decorated, a stones throw from the centre. Debbie and Richard were the perfect hosts even meeting me to show us around the apartment and where to park the car which was very helpful as we got lost in york. I'm not very good at following the sat nav!! Will definitely book again. J D Witherspoon just around the corner for breakfast which was very good and Jamie Oliver restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Very close to the coppergate shopping centre, the Yorvic centre and the dungeons. Altogether a very enjoyable stay. Thanks again Debbie and Richard sorry didn't write in the guest book, which has some good information, as we didn't have a pen.
This accommodation is very nicely refurbished. There is everything you might need including for young children. The location is fantastic. Right inside the old walls. You can walk to the shops and tourist attractions such as York Minster. There is parking and wifi available. I would definitely recommend.
As my title reads this truly is a gorgeous house in a perfect location for a city break. From start to finish we had a thoroughly enjoyable short break. Debbie and Richard were very friendly and helpful 'meeters and greeters'. We found St Denys View to be a beautifully clean, comfortable and peaceful house to stay in. It was also well equipped and we felt like we were going home when we returned each day. Another advantage to St Denys View is it's location, only a few minutes walk to the nearest small supermarket and other amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along Walmgate and Fossegate each day with their many restaurants, deli's, cafe's and shops to browse and enjoy. Highlights of our trip included exploring the city walls, visiting York Minster (we think we spotted St Denys View from the top of the Minster tower!), and being spoilt for choice with places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend St Denys View for a relaxing city break.
