Ideal for the park and ride at Rawcliffe Bar which took us into the town centre in approx. 15 minutes -£2:50 return and under 16s free. Ideal facilities at the hotel with a Beefeater Grill next door and Fish and Chip Restaurant, Indian Restaurant on the same site. Quiet yet next to the A1237. Lots of parking space which is CCTV monitored. Helpful, friendly staff and nice size rooms. Hairdryer provided which is a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Ask to be on the third floor, there is a lift and saves you getting the noise of those above you. We...

A nice premier inn with a newly refurbished room with a massive TV!, a very nice lady on reception, very helpful and welcoming. room very clean and warm, very comfortable bed, the hotel is one of the better ones. would stay again, however, the next door Beefeater was a total disappointment, the meal was not up to the normal standard I am used to, the soup (mushroom) was bland in taste and very small portion, I recieved x 3 very small bread slices with it and a portion of butter no bigger than half of my little finger, the steak was in 2 bits one large with a knife cut in it and a small bit attached with connective tissue, no sauce was offered or given, one of the worst meals I have had in a long time, I will not be eating here again, there is a local fish and chip upmarket eaterey next door, I will eat there next time.
would stay at the hotel again

We recently stayed here just for one night while visiting York, I must say we really enjoyed our stay the receptionist was very helpful and professional too and she couldnt do more than enough to make our stay welcoming. The rooms were ample enough for three we did have a family room which consisted of two adults and a child the beds were comfy and clean <i checked> there was an LCD television, tea, coffee making facilities, controlled heating, the bathroon was clean and well equipped with soaps, towels, hair dryers etc.We did eat in the Beefeater thats attached for our evening meal and to be honest we didnt think the menu was very good if we went again we would drive further a field to eat, saying that on the following morning we had breakast which was a set price £8 for all you can eat that consisted of full english breakfast, continental, crumpets, toast, cereal, croissants and children eat free which was just aswell as we thought £8 seemed bit pricey. We did enjoy the breakfast and would eat in there again for that. All in all the place where the Premier inn was situated was perfect it was near the town, but out of the town which was lovely and peaceful so yes we did have a perfect night sleep would highly reccomend anyone to stay here.

Room Tip: I think any room would be excepted as a good room as where it is situated is very quiet, near by is a...

Stayed for one night earlier this month, we were welcomed by Jovita and i echo all previous comments made about her, excellent friendly and helpful. We asked for a quiet room and were allocated one at the rear of the hotel. The road noise was very much noticeable as mentioned but this does quiten down alot after rush hour time, however the train line that isnt mentioned is noisy and goes on through the night then to top that off 6am arrived and the refuse man reverses down the service road outside your window and spends 10 mins bashing around whilst leaving the lorry running and lovely orange lights flashing away. The hotel itself is nice , large clean rooms and spotlessly clean as usual. The Beefeater restaurant next door was very good the food was excellent and all staff friendly and attentive. The best though is the breakfast which was excellent and special thanks go to Rita the breakfast chef on my stay for doing everything the way i asked for it, every bite was a pleasure. Car parking is fairly plentiful and cctv covers the entrance and car park. Would i stay again ? . . yes probably but would try the rooms at the front instead.

Clean fresh rooms , high quality fittings and furnishings. Good nights sleep. Ideal for park and ride into York. Premier Inn is a quality brand , but York North West is one of the best we have stayed at.

Myself and my husband stayed for one night whilst visiting york. Its about a 10-15 min drive out of the main city center but has free parking which is a bonus after we had paid over £10 to park all day in York. The premier inn is large and had a nice restaurant/bar underneath. The Receptionist was very friendly on checking in and was very helpful when we asked for more tea bags and sugars/milks for our room, she let us help ourselves to as many as we wanted. The Hotel is right next to a busy dual carriageway which could be heard at first but I wasn't disturbed by any traffic noise during the night and as we were on the top floor there was no noise by any other guests. My only complaint was that we weren't supplied with any towels in the room so had to go down to reception late at night to ask for some ready for the morning, and then the next day I realised that there was no Body wash in the dispenser in the bath and I hadn't brought my own shower gel or Soap as I know that Premier inn's I have stayed in in the passed have always provided this body wash so that was a bit annyoying that this hadn't been refilled and there was very little toilet roll left too. Apart from those few things the Premier inn was very good for value as I got it for just £39 a night. I would recommend staying here if visiting York as the other Hotels are very expensive.

Booked on line and arrived at 6.00pm Saturday 20th October. The lady on reception was lovely and friendly. The room was excellent. Flat screen TV , lovely bed, pillow options. Tea and coffee. A couple of points no toiletries ( except imperial leather dispenser) and no Shaver socket. This wasnt a problem as we phoned to check. The reception gave us a shaver adaptor.
Booked the meal deal. Three course meal and a drink and all you could eat breakfast £22 per person. The attached Beafeater was also excellent and the service good and friendly. Breakfast was help yourself to everything but the cooked breakfast and there is a big choice. Handy for the park and ride as i went shopping. Really nice time and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
