My wife and i stayed here for two night from 2nd-3rd November. We got a great deal at £78 for both nights
Hotel very clean.staff friendly.Room was very nice with a 42"Lcd tv with freeview..Bed was comfy.we had breakfast next door in the Beefeater and it was excellent with all you can eat buffet style hot and cold.Staff were great. Parking in York is extortion £5 for two hours so use the park and ride ten mins away at £2.60 each and stay all day.We will usr the Premier Inn again without hesitation

We go to York at least twice a year and for the last couple we have stayed here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There is a large free car park and is two minutes to a park and ride which takes you into the centre for £2.60 each. There are also several different restaurants in the area if you don't want to eat at the adjoining Beefeater. On check in we were recognised as having stayed before and that was a nice touch. The rooms are clean and for a budget hotel spacious. This visit it felt as if we had a new bed, it was so comfortable and the pillows were excellent my husband had the best nights sleep for a while although he did have to use ear plugs. We had room 41 which is at the back of the hotel, unfortunately the double glazing isn't too good and the noise from extractor fans from restaurants in the nearby vicinity was horrendous with one only stopping between the hours of 0400 and 0500 I didn't get much sleep so if you have the choice choose the front. We ate in the adjoining Beefeater on two nights and the food was very good and reasonable again all the staff were very friendly. We intend to visit again in the spring and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed one night in this Premier Inn hotel as we couldn't get another night in the south west Premier Inn. It was our third night in York, receptionist was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the Premier Inns so much that when we returned to London we stayed in a Premier Inn. I highly recommend them.

Stayed for one night while visiting York. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 3 minute drive from the Park & Ride. Room clean and bed comfortable. This hotel is quite small; about 60 rooms so the staff on the desk seem to know everyone.

All what you would expect from a premier inn but even better than usual the staff here are excellent and really make your stay appreciated. The staff at breakfast are likewise excellent. Great rooms and very good location for the park and ride into York. Just be careful if you need to get anywhere fast between 4pm and 6pm as the rush hour on the bypass is always gridlocked.

Arrived slightly early & cheekily asked if we could leave our bags in our room. "No problem at all" was the extremely helpful smiling response. All the staff we're so friendly & helpful, we could not thank them enough. We stayed for a two night break with two rooms pre-booked a few months in advance. A great way to travel in & out of the city centre is with a local taxi firm who have a set rate arranged with the hotel & the hotel staff were happy to book for immediate pick-ups. The rooms were lovely, clean & comfortable as would be expected from Premier Inn & the beefeater restaurant next door was very clean & staff very friendly. We'd definitely book & go back again. A great small break stay!

Really large room, loads of TV channels on the free view 40" flat screen. surrounded by Indian, chinese, beefeater and Fish n Chips restaurents but be aware that this location is mles from York centre so not v good if you are wanting to see the City.
