went here on the night of our 30th wedding annv hopeing for a special evening after reading all the good reviews,we had previously booked on the phone,on entering we were showed to a table at the dark back of restaurant,we ordered a bottle of bubbly only for the waitress to tell us she'd have to get the boss to open it!!(what?) we had chicken satay and mussles for starters, the chicken ok but the mussels well overcooked!! then we ordred the red thai curry as so many reviewers have said its authentic!!(well its not) it was bland and very chewy,i had to ask for extra chillies to add, i had duck and my husband had beef, both very chewy and over cooked, then the final straw was we both used the toilets before leaving, well if i had used them before we'd ordered i wouldn't have stayed, they are filthy and disgusing and not situated in a good place!! how this place hasnt been shut down i dont know,it is the worst thai restaurant ive been to,ive been to many but i have 3 that are my favourite and far more authentic, with tasty food and far cleaner toilets, the best one is in france run by thai chefs and is freshly prepared and cooked for you!!

Booked at last minute on May bank holiday weekend (table of 5) and we managed to squeeze in to what was a busy restaurant (this had been a recommendation from the staff at the YHA).
A little out of the main old city but easily walkable from centre.

We had great food and service - opted for a set menu (option B) and the quality, presentation and sheer amount of food was amazing.

Only slight niggle was we had to nudge several times to get tap water to the table (in addition to the several beers we had!) I genuinely think this was just due to being busy rather than a ploy to boost drink takings !

The loos are somewhat quirky in décor BTW !

Tea time visit. Staff constantly looking over your shoulder to see if they can take away your courses as soon as you have eaten them. Shared starter was average but the chicken wing had tomato ketchup on it. Main course of red curry which was ok but nothing special. Other main of Pad Thai was terrible, for some strange reason this also tasted of tomato ketchup. It was really poor. Shared starter, two mains, one rice and 2 glasses of wine came to £60.00. Expensive for what it was. Won't go back.

We arrived with no booking on Wednesday night and were squeezed into the last table. Service was efficient and our water glasses were regularly topped up. The food portions were more than adequate but we managed to finish. Definitely worth a visit.

The red curry was rich and tasty and the pad Thai was the best I've had well worth a visit. The decor is a but over the top but just added to the place. Just within the city walls on the train station side of the river
