I agree with others the access to the car park is tricky, The upside is the staff are really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were going to a reunion and it turned out it was the moto gp at Silverstone that weekend so our room was £98 double the normal price, there is no way on earth I would have paid that for the room we had. The room itself was OK, bed comfy but dated decor, nice view of the park at the back, but the ensuite was small and grimy I couldn't say it was dirty but there was mould around the shower on the tiles etc and inground dust and dirt in the grout of the very old fashioned floor tiles (looked like they came out of a 60's public loo)
and the worst thing was that we missed breakfast should be till at least 10 on a Sunday morning.
If I had only paid the normal going rate circa £45 I wouldn't have complained at all.

Stayed here for two nights and found hotel very satisfactory. My room was spotlessly clean with a small fridge and the bathroom very roomy with a large strong shower. The quaint touch was a notice on the room door reading 'Hotel rules and regulations', echoes of B&B's in the 50's!!
The breakfast was very plentiful with quick service. The hotel is quite a distance from the railway station but the town centre is within easy walking distance and there is a bus stop just a few yards away. I would definitely stay here again, very good value.

Room Tip: If you have heavy luggage, ask for a room on ground or first floors as there is no lift and the stai...

Clean and friendly but difficult access to the car park. No restaurant but you can order a takeaway! I walked 10 minutes into town to a decent Chinese restaurant. As an alternative to a no frills chain it's good and the breakfasts are enormous but when travelling alone my preference is for a country pub with good food. Excellent value though.

The langham hotel was charming well maintained and had a very attentive staff. The rooms were around standard size and cleanly. However the real good part is the value was unbeatable. The only downside to my stay was the wifi reception was a bit spotty in my room.

Room Tip: The wifi in room 3 is a bit spotty.

The only downside that I found was arrival. The hotel is situated on a dual carriageway and you do not wish to miss the narrow entry a few houses past it which leads to the car park. Care is needed to avoid adding to the paint scrapes on the wall at the first right-angled turn once you are in the narrow unmetalled track. Another sharp left-hander takes you through gates, which are locked at night for security, into the paved car park which is immediately behind the hotel.

From then on everything looks up. Welcoming reception, clean if slightly dated room (Room 2), comfortable bed, massive supply of teabags, coffee, milk thingies and sugar, biccies and a mint, plus a fridge if you want to bring fresh milk. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space if you are staying for a while, plus TV, ironing board and hair-dryer.

I got myself a pint (they have draught beer at a reasonable price) in the small bar and took it to the covered smoking area at the rear.

After a good night's sleep it was time for a great breakfast: fruit juice, cereal, toast, jam, marmelade, tea or coffee and an extremely generous Full English.

Hassle-free checkout.

Stayed in this hotel from May 21st for 3 nights. The entrance into the hotel is pretty tricky to spot and the narrow road once you've found it is bumpy to say the least, however we had just had torrential rain so this can be forgiven.

Whilst the hotel is dated it is very clean, the rooms are cleaned daily & you get more than enough tea, coffee & milk than you could need. In addition little packs of biscuits are left in the room which are ideal for that pre meal snack.

The breakfasts in the hotel are good including an assortment of cereals, cooked english breakfast, juice, toast & tea or coffee.

The hotel doesnt do evening meals but if you turn left out of the hotel a very good Indian restaurant is about 200 yards down the road called Lazeez which I highly recommend, the restaurant doesnt sell alcohol but there is an off licence on the corner and there is no surcharge for taking your own drinks in.

In addition if you carry on walking past lazeez you arrive in the town centre after about 1/2 mile in which you will find all the usual banks, bars, cinemas, fast food outlets etc.

In conclusion is you want easy access to Northampton & the surrounding areas AND you dont want to pay the earth, this is the one for you

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the hotel
