great to get up close to a great variety of farm animals. We had our two young grandchildren with us,and they were mesmerised by it all.The indoor and outdoor play area's have a great selection of equipment to play on.
Food and drink are very reasonable. You can take your own food and have a picnic outside.
All the staff are friendly, and helpfull.

We were aware that Northampton schools had gone back from their Easter break so it was lovely and quiet. We came from Rugby, we had 3 children aged 8,10 and 12 and it was fab. The petting area was lovey, the walk round the farm, and then the indoor play area were all excellent. We'll worth the entry cost. The eating area was also good for people taking a picnic but there were only sandwiches and crisps to buy if you hadn't. Very well worth while.

Great place for younger kids. Plenty of outdoor play equipment. Two bouncy castles with unlimited use inc in price. Indoor soft play and lots of opportunity for interaction with livestock. Sometimes they have special events where there is opportunity to see other animals like snakes and tortoises. The food and drink is cheap and cheerful and you are welcome to bring your own picnic to eat inside or out, on one of their many picnic benches. I guess the entrance fee can be expensive for a day out with the family but it's worth it if the weather's nice and once in you don't have to spend any more unless you want to.

Do remember THEY DON'T ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS. It's cash only, so check on their website to work out how much you need to take with you. The cafe is cheap (£3 for a basic sandwich and a small coffee) and that's the only spending opportunity on the farm. My daughter and I have a season pass each. In total £73 for unlimited visits over the 6month ish season. Roughly speaking that's £12 per month. As we're local enough to visit 2 or 3 times a month I think it's great value.

We visit weekdays during school hours when it's much quieter than weekends and holidays. Regardless of when you come there is plenty of parking in two fields just before you get to the main farm entrance. That does mean their is a 100metre walk down an uneven footpath on a national speed limit road between the car park and the farm. It's easy enough even with a pushchair but bare it in mind if bringing lots of children.

If you want to make a full day out of the area you're a 15 minute walk or 3minute drive (and a struggle to find parking in the small public car park ) to the pretty village Stoke Bruerne with the Canal Museum, boat rides, canal walks cafés and family friendly pubs on the Grand Union canal. Some of the pubs have car parks for customers but it may be worth checking beforehand. Equally at weekends and on warm sunny days if you want a proper sit down lunch it's probably worth booking in advance.

My 2 year old son and I went here today with a friend and her toddler son and we had the most wonderful day! This place is amazing, it has everything for children and adults alike, we could have stayed all day. The animals are just gorgeous and being able to get so close to them is a real privilege. Very reasonable admission price and we are seriously considering purchasing their also very reasonable season tickets. Very friendly staff and beautifully kept facilities. Thanks for a wonderful experience and we can't wait to visit again.

My husband and I have regularly taken our two grandsons, now aged 7 and 3 over the past three or four years and every visit has been most enjoyable. There is an excellent and varied range of play equipment both outside and indoors for all ages under 10. I am afraid the play equipment takes precedent over the `farm side` every time although our younger grandson enjoys snuggling down with the goats and they both find watching the chipmunks fascinating. The whole area is well tended and the picnic tables amidst the outdoor play equipment works very well. I have recommended Rockery Farm to several friends and they have all enjoyed it.
