Excellent hotel real homely friendly welcome. I’ve traveled for years across the UK for business and this is in my top 3 hotels to stay.

Breakfast is beautiful rooms are Immaculately clean and they’re very generous with coffee and biscuits which is always a treat after a long journey.

We stay on average every 2 weeks and have got to know the owner and team and they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as expected.

Beautiful location and peaceful very stylish, it’s a hotel I enjoy coming back to there are dressing tables in the rooms which allows me to also work comfortably to catch up on emails after a long day. Showers are fabulous and they always leave loads of fresh towels warming up on the bathroom towel rack.

Worth a visit we won’t stay anywhere else.

Thank you Poplars
Bernadette

Wonderful warm welcome from Susan and staff. Lovely clean, warm, cosy rooms. Excellent value for money. Provided free includes tv, hairdryer, hand wash and hand cream, shower gel/shampoo and conditioner, extra pillows and blankets, controls on radiators to get it as warm as you need and tea and coffee making facilities, with biscuits.
A walk away from local pubs and shops, including the co~op open until 10pm. Burger van Tuesday night that serves restaurant quality food!

Room tip: Stay here! It’s amazing!

The Poplars is a gem of a place to stay. Comfortable, quiet, clean, dog friendly, top notch breakfast and so on. We have stayed there three times and it is now our first choice whenever we need to stop in Northampton. For dog owners there are rooms opening onto the car park and fields for exercising a ten minute walk away.

Great location for Northampton rural area stays. Moulton is a quiet village.
The Poplars is where I stay, friendly, warm welcome always. Good parking and outside lodges suit me fine, breakfast is great as always with a variety of options.

Superb hotel with a truly fantastic full English breakfast. The hotel is in a small village and is, in my view, quintessentially English with old beam work and open fires. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. It doesn’t have a bar or evening food but the are a couple of restaurants and pubs just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are cleaned and serviced to a high standard and the staff are all very polite. Thank you for a lovely stay and will return for that beautifully cooked hot English breakfast.
