I stay in a lot of hotels, for both work and pleasure, and can honestly say this was the best nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel! The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The only bad comment was we were only give one large towel to share between us.
A beautiful full English breakfast, toast and endless drinks set us up for the day, and I couldn’t fault a thing.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening, but wish we had because the food smelt delicious!

We will definitely be stay here again!

Dear Vanessa,

Many thanks for your kind review and I am really pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us.

Many apologies for the towel mistake. There should be 2 in every room and I will follow up on this.

We are very much looking forward to your next visit.

Kind regards, David.

Went for dinner Bank Holiday Monday and had a lovely meal. Great food, good service not a huge variety but food we cooked to perfection. My only comment would be that it was a little unbalanced as not many vegetables but alot of meat still thoroughly enjoyed

The staff were very nice, the food was delicious and there was a really good choice of food for meat eaters. You could choose from 3 menus but several of our party chose different courses from different menus.

We were seated in a part with no atmosphere initially but when we asked if we could move we were moved to an area in the restaurant with much more atmosphere.
Unfortunately they don’t have a gluten free menu and not many options on the main menu.
The buffalo cheese starter I had, was very nice but a part of it had to be removed as was cooked in the same oil as other glutenous foods.
There was 1 main options could have, the pork belly but the cauliflower cheese croquet and the Yorkshire had to be removed with no replacement offered.
There were no desserts available that were gluten free.
The food I did manage to eat gave me no reactions, and tasted absolutely deliscious, it’s just a shame there were very limited options for gf.

Dear Clare,

Many thanks for your feedback and for pointing out our mistake. We should indeed have a full A La Carte menu with several choices for starters, mains and desserts. Our A La Carte menu is regularly updated but we have not updated our gluten free menu at the same time, which is an oversight on our part. We have several staff on holiday now but this will be rectified early in September.

Our commitment is to serve excellent quality food at great value prices and I am pleased that our dishes were delicious. Please rest assured that our GF options will be significantly increased and we hope you will try us out again.

Kind regards, David.

We stayed here for one night before going on to Silverstone for a club race day. We initially chose here because of the decent parking facilities but when we saw online they had a nice restaurant and read some of the reviews we were sold.

Our room was number 10 on the second floor, it was during the heatwave and it was hot but two fans had thoughtfully been provided. The room was clean and good value.

The highlight of our stay was the restaurant, our dinner was superb, the quality of the cooking came as a real surprise (in a good way). My wife and I both had the crab to start and the lamb to follow accompanied by a half of white and a very nice bottle of Cotes du Rhone.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The clientele seemed very nice also. We would definitely stay here again.
