A group of 8 of us had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch one person ordered Lamb it didn’t come with Yorkshire pudding which was surprising as most roast meals do, we asked and were immediately brought a large Yorkshire pudding, one person had fish which they said was good, nice vegetable selection we all found it very filling.

We went here for one night to meet with family. The place looked very welcoming and the staff were very friendly. Our room was lovely, a good size, very clean with a comfortable bed. It had opening windows which is always nice to have. We met with family and ate in the hotel restaurant. The menu choice was great as was the food. After a good night's sleep, we had breakfast there and it was very good, waitress service with a good choice. We will most DEFINITELY book it again on our next visit there to meet up with our family.

Room tip: Our room overlooked the car park and there was a little noise very late, but not enough to be intrusive.

Just the one night here but really happy I found the Hopping Hare. What a great restaurant - I really enjoyed my evening meal. This place has a boutique style about it. My only let down was that I was in a rather cramped single room. Otherwise, I hope to return before long.
