We live 30 miles away and have needed a place to go for perfection, at last we found it. In the beautiful town of Hexham amongst the traffic and shop sits a wee gem. We arrived mid morning a tad peckish so decided to have to Full Breakfast, all locally sourced food incredibly delicious and filling....the staff esp Linda very warm and attentive. The only problem was trying to leave, the shop has many delicious cakes, scones & bread. It is impossible not to buy half the shop. So after buying half the shop and speaking to the owner we were very happy with fully tummies and bags of goodies we will return again very soon....

This bakery is amazing the cakes are to die for. Decided on a big portion of toffee apple crumble which had toffee bursting out of it, and a cookie dough brownie which was really moist and chocolatey. Will be definitely returning here in the near future

We visited for the second time and were again blown away by the faultless service and quality of the food served.
I had a bacon roll cooked to my liking served in a super-fresh roll with butter and quality dry cured bacon, perfect.
My wife chose the veggie breakfast option and was shocked by the amount that arrived on her plate. It came with 2 poached eggs, cooked cherry tomatoes, chestnut mushrooms all on an almost plate sized rosti, she did finish it all and saved me having to buy her lunch, result!

Be warned though you have to leave passing the bakery counter which is full of some of the nicest looking cakes etc, you will come away with a bag full of something for sure, no good if you are on a diet though.........be warned!!!!

Tempted into this bakery shop and coffee house by the wonderful window display. Situated on main throughfare near the bus station. Cakes and sandwiches beautifully presented; slices of cake the size of door stops. Just the best for a light meal or coffee and cake.

Only went in for a coffee but then you see a massive load of gooey cakes and your eyeballs just go mental. They had little samples of chilli bread on top the counter (yes, bread with bits of chilli in it - quite spicy as well) so I ended up having a freshly made cheese/salad sandwich made from that. Fantastic. Then a chocolate brownie with the only thing I'd actually gone in for - a strong coffee. So I ended up spending a bit more than I'd bargained for, but it was well good. Great food, great coffee, great service. Well done.
