We stayed here overnight on the August bank holiday weekend for a wedding. Room was typical Premier Inn - clean, tidy, comfortable bed. Unlike others I'd stayed in, doors had standard keys rather than keycards, which was a pain when we decided to return to the hotel at different times, but the night porter was happy to let me in once I'd confirmed my identity. Used the free 1/2 hour WiFi although it was very slow...I think this might be deliberate to encourage an upgrade, but is annoying.
Food was at the pub next door, breakfast was plentiful and included (although not for the first time, as I like Hot Chocolate at breakfast rather than coffee, I was told this would be extra, only for it not to appear on the bill). The hotel also efficiently ordered us a taxi when requested. The hotel is close to Ruddington and West Bridgford, about 10 minutes by car from the likes of Trent Bridge, City Ground etc....

This hotel is good value for money. Has very helpful staff. What impressed me the most was
how clean everything was. Even the carpets were spotless not a mark anywhere and its 2 years since the renovation and still spotless. The bed linens were pure white as was the towels. There was a fan in the room which I found helped with the exceptional heat in UK at that time. I would like to add here that I travel a lot and this hotel is one of the cleanest I have been in. Good value for money. I would like to add that the cleaning staff that come in every day did an amazing job to keep this hotel looking the way that it does. Value for money you cannot beat this hotel.

You know what you are getting with the Premier Inn chain - cheap and cheerful, not in any way luxurious, but equally, you know you will get a clean room, decent bed, a reasonable value meal (if not exactly cordon bleu) and fuss-free surroundings. This Premier Inn is typical of this - a happy friendly receptionist, spacious rooms (amazing at the price), the nearby pub/restaurant was fine (and child-friendly) for dinner. The cooked breakfast was *excellent* and (seriously) would put many four star hotels to shame. The hotel is well situated for Nottingham (particularly either of the universities) and areas south of Nottingham. We would definitely use it again.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a busy road, but even with the windows open (it was a hot stuffy night when we staye...

I booked three rooms at Premier Inn for 2 nights as we needed to be on the south side of Nottingham. We had a twin, a double and a family room between us. All rooms were clean and tidy and our family room was very spacious particularly as there was only the two of us in there. There was a choice of soft or firm pillows and we used one of each which was very comfortable. Our bed was huge and very comfortable until we strayed towards the middle where we were met by a hard ridge as the bed was actually two singles fastened together. The bathroom was clean and tidy and there were toiletries (well known brands) for us to use.
The windows were open and a fan was blowing when we arrived which made the room nice and comfortable. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of noise from the extractor fans in the restaurant next door which meant we had to have the windows closed at night and the fan was too noisy to leave switched on so the room was a bit hot during the night. That said we all managed to sleep quite well and I would add that despite being situated at a traffic island, traffic noise was negligible.
We had an evening meal in the Nottingham Knight restaurant next door which was very good and reasonably priced and although we didn't have breakfast I would recommend a visit there.
The staff were all friendly and efficient from the receptionist who made us feel welcome when we arrived, to the housekeeping staff who all had time for a few words as they worked, and even asked if everything was satisfactory with our rooms; and not forgetting the restaurant/bar staff who served us with a smile.
I would stay here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations putting Premier Inn up there with some of the more notable hotel chains. Clean, fresh with everything the traveler needs, even to shower gel, which I wasn't expecting.
