Owner description: Perfectly located in the heart of the country, with excellent access to all major transport networks, Nottingham Greyhound Stadium is quite simply the home of greyhound racing in the East Midlands. The stadium is situated just two miles from the City Centre and only one mile from Nottingham Forest FC, Notts County FC and Trent Bridge Cricket Club at Colwick Park in the same complex as the horse racecourse. Car parking at the stadium is free. Nottingham Greyhound Stadium offers great entertainment at affordable prices for corporate hospitality, special occasions and everyone who wants to enjoy the thrill of live greyhound racing. The stadium has a top quality restaurant, three bars and a snack bar with plenty of viewing inside and out so customers can enjoy the thrill of live racing whatever the weather. A flutter costs as little as 50p so you don't have to be a millionaire to enjoy a night at the dogs. The track races every Monday, Friday and Saturday evening throughout the year.

Just got in from a great night out at the dogs! It wasn't too crowded but there was a nice atmosphere and it was really friendly.
We paid £5 each to get in so I don't think you can complain. Ladies toilets were clean, infact the whole place in clean and reasonably priced! A coffee was 90p and a pt of Carling was £3.20.
We will definitely be returning

We used this venue for our Christmas party last year. This wasn't my choice and wouldn't be my choice again. The food was average, the drinks took a very long time to arrive and at the end of the night the old woman running the place shouted for us all to 'clear off home' She then went on the say 'only joking' but she clearly wasn't. If that's how you feel at the end of the night, maybe you should work the day shift? The ladies walking around taking our bets worked very well and saved us all getting up and down from the table. The big screens were positioned all around so we could all view the races. The early close time is something worth noting if you are booking a party - think the venue is missing a trick - lay on a dj and we would happily have partied the night away and no doubt spent a lot more money on drinks. Maybe a problem with planning permissions but if not, worth investigating for the next festive season.

Having paid £105 and reading menu online it all sounds good ! Not at all food was very small portion child size cold they were delivered like they were in a rush to get rid of you .we felt rushed all night shame really as it is a good place to have a night out but next time we won't be eating there we will just go for races as the meal isn't worth 27-50 each so needs to improve great deal in the restaurant staff are great shame about management in my opinion a good night at the dogs but don't book restaurant as the food ain't worth it go for a curry somewhere after better value for your money

Had a great night out here, wasn't very impressed by the surroundings, the restaurant or the downstairs bar area but in general the place is kept clean even if it is a little tired looking.

Healthy Options extend to a jacket potato, all dried up and horrible, other fast food options burgers and fries , generally fast food :( Try some home made hot soups with crusty bread, hot filled baguettes, Panini's .... be a little more creative and inspiring !!
