Recently visited holme pierre pont white water rafting in a group of 32 including 16 teenagers.
Very professional place with great instructors and good knowledge.
We had the water pretty much to ourselves having booked 4 rafts so had some good laughs at the others and ourselves! The guide you get in your raft who steers the raft snd gives clear instructions but be ready for some hard paddling. We had 2 hours and got 4 runs of the course which has guides on the bankside to help when you fall out the raft! You will!
Wetsuits provided with helmets. If your planning on taking a go pro make sure you get a helmet with a mount as they won't allow body harnesses to be worn for safety reasons.
There's a guy running around frantically taking photos so you'll get chance to see some action shots when you finish.
All in all a great day out and thanks go to the guides/steerers whatever you call them. I'll definitely be returning with a group of mates. Cracking day .

Thank Simon W

We had a fantastic time at the white water rafting course at NWSC Nottingham.
2 hours of adrenalin fueled fun. The whole event was brilliantly captured on camera by Alex from Wilkinson photography. The pictures really show the action and the sequence shots of Tim falling in were fantastic.
Alex put together over 60 shots of our trip which make a superb reminder of just how much fun we all had.

Absolutely fantastic event, really well organised. Great facilities and a family day out.

We camped on site- very relaxed and cheap at £17 per night, no fixed pitches or extra charges for children, pets, gazebo or awning. Would stay again just for Water Sport Centre facilities. Campsite could do with more showers but it was very busy due to the outlaw event , toilets/showers we cleaned regularly throughout the the day.

Started Wakeboarding here at the end of last years season, been hooked on it ever since and have been quite a few times so far this year.
Staff are very helpful and friendly, even helped my little 10yr old sister get up on a wakeboard..!!
does get quite busy when it's a hot day but the staff keep the queue moving and make sure everyone gets plenty of time on the water.
Few genuine negative points
Facilities are average, changing rooms need updating, toilet is a bit smelly and showers could be kept cleaner - but they are nice and Hot..!!
Equipment is all provided and only costs £3 for everything., however if you want to ride obstacles then they dont seem to have any boards to do this - would be good even if you had to pay extra
Cable is great and good number of obstacles, would be nice to see a few new ones occasionally.
Overall, definitely worth the money both for experienced riders and beginners - guaranteed to get you riding after a couple of visits :-)

Went tubing and stand up paddle boarding afterwards both were great fun. Was laughing constantly all afternoon.

Everyone there was really friendly, and the pics from tubing are hilarious!

Thank you! :-)
