Forget Holiday Inn, Travelodge & Days Inn, the Premier Inn in Nottingham was fantastic! Nothing out of the ordinary but having stayed in Travelodge's and similar in the past I am used to getting a service that mirrors the "budget" price you pay, gloomy faces, drab dated interior & basic rooms. However, everything we encountered was as good as a hotel you would pay 3 times the price for. The staff were cheery & helpful, the rooms were comfortable, & the breakfast was AWESOME.

The location is great, the car parking is convenient, the amenities on site are useful, there are tram stops right outside and the Capital FM arena is only 5 mins (by tram) or 15 mins walk away.

Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Nottingham. Brilliant!

Room Tip: Limited parking spaces so definitely worth booking in advance, cheaper than parking in a town centre carpark and walking to hotel by about £5 a day.

Other than some building work outside the hotel and a couple of small marks on the carpet in the room my stay was excellent. The bed was the most comfortable of any i've come across and the locatation is fantastic for those wanting access to the city centre as it is a 2 minute walk to the victoria centre and only 5 minutes from slab square.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay. Close to the shops etc, and the staff go out of their way to make your stay a very pleasurable one. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable, there os very little internal/external noise considering where it is based, and the food is absolutely delicious and good value for money!

We will definitely be staying here again later this year. You come as customers and leave as friends!

Room Tip: ouirs was room 328 - not much of a view (being in town it was surrounded by other buildings so shut the curtains when getting undressed!) but very happy with it. family had room 316 - again a noce room but on the noisier side due to trams passing every few minutes (not as bad if window shut!)

Very good hotel. Beds clean and soft and comfortable, room very spacious. When we arrived back from our evening out, and when we checked in in the morning, the lobby was in chaos with drunken guests (several good venues are nearby) but we couldn't hear a peep of this until we left our room!

Tram stop is right outside and the city centre itself (and station) is just about walkable.

Only problem is parking, which is a bit far away (and uphill) to be pulling heavy bags. There is a sign to the hotel in the stairwell but once you're outside on Chaucer Street there's nothing to point you in the right direction. There appears to be some kind of discount for guests of the hotel but this isn't mentioned anywhere nor by the staff when you check in (I only found out because we lost the chipcoin used to pay for parking and there was a tiny notice on the security guard's window about the offer).

Recommended for a night out!

Room Tip: The hotel seemed to be well-soundproofed so I presume if we couldn't hear the revellers, you aren't likely to hear the trams either. Not 100% sure of that, though.

I stayed at this premier inn five nights whilst attending a conference last week. I was in room 419 on the fourth floor which meant the room was nice and quiet so my sleep wasnt disturbed. The room was basic but very clean and had everything that I needed. The bed and pillows were much better than I'd expected. I had only been given one bath towel an on hand towel so struggled to dry my long hair but I requested another bath towel from reception and was given one straight away. The receptionists are all really friendly and made my stay more enjoyable. The position of the hotel is good as the tram stops very near the hotel. Wish I'd known this when I arrived in nottingham by train as its a good half an hour walk from the train station. Would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: 4th floor is much more quieter, but a long walk if you dont like lifts.
