“Great Staff”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

We stayed here as a base for a lads weekend in October.

Great location easy access to central Nottingham.

Car Park is free if you can find a space

Be warned on getting to this Prem Inn that there is a tram only section of Goldmsith Street which you will be fined if you stray into trying to the find the hotel.

Room is as expected from a Prem Inn, We had twin room, which has the normal double bed for one person then a slightly smaller bed for the second, I had the small bed but had no problem sleeping on it (this could be down to the numerous ale's drank).

The Friday when we got back after a night out, We had a chat to the night staff and mentioned we were hungry she presented takeaway menu's for us and rang through a order of kebabs. Showed us to a table in the bar where we had a few drinks whilst waiting for the takeaway.
We were made very welcome.

Would stop here again if in Nottingham

Stayed last saturday. Got a cab to the hotel not realising that trams go right opposite (Goldsmith Street). Premier Inn was clean, welcoming, comfortable. Paid a lot more to stay a lot worse. The location was brilliant considering we were going to see russell brand at the royal concert hall, it wsa 5 minutes walk away. The room was a comfortable temperature, beds comfortable and clean, adequate powerpoints and tea/coffee making facilities. No alarm calls tho as no phones so slightly panicked.

The good nights sleep guarantee kicked in as we were awoken at 4am by a drunk hammering on the door together with those of other guests. All guests then had their money refunded the next day. very fair, and very kind.

Breakfast was amongst the nicest and tastiest i have had in a while, and definitely something to set you up for the day.

We had a booked this Premier Inn as we were having a night out in Nottingham. On arrival we parked in the car park at the rear, where there weren't any signs regarding payment. The receptionist was very friendly (unnervingly so, as I am used to chain hotels having a more off hand approach). The charge for the car park was £5, which was added to the cost of the room. We were on the fourth floor, which was serviced by two lifts. The room was ample size, and had a large bathroom (with a bath).
There is a restaurant, which is pre-booking only, but we chose to eat elsewhere, as the price of the veggie burger was over £10.
We did however have breakfast (which I forgotten I'd booked, and if it hadn't been mentioned by the receptionist, wouldn't have been any the wiser). Previous Premier Inns I've been to have had a waitress system for ordering the cooked breakfast, but this was buffet style, with some items, such as veggie sausages, made to order, which was easier, and more customer friendly. The breakfast is also served in a four hour slot (or something like that, so no rushing to get up early).
Located a short walk from the city centre; handy for shopping.
Only downside was being woken up by a refuse wagon, or something similar.

Staff were so friendly, the room spotless and no noise from the construction work outside :)
Would defiantly stay again in any of their hotels, was worth the money and booking was very easy.
IT WAS THE BEST NIGHTS SLEEP I'VE EVER HAD!

I have stayed here several times. It is well located and the tram stop from station/into town is right outside. Staff are friendly. Rooms are standard Premier Inn, ask for quiet room at back to avoid any street noise. Room was 'cleanish', it needed a deep clean and the hotel is starting to show its age.
Big let down - breakfast - overpriced at £ 8.25 for a very mediocre offering. Cold plates (plate warmer was broken) - 'hot' breakfast was cold by the time I got to eat it. When I complained I was told that I needed to ask for a hot plate! Further complaint at reception was met by 'I'll let them know'. Bad taste on leaving. If you get a cheap deal (I paid £29) then good value but not worth full rate.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms at back facing car park

This is a very good Premier Inn. Well located and the reception staff warm and friendly.
Ask in advance for parking.
Food in restaurant very average though for the cost.
But would recommend this hotel

This hotel was clean and comfortable with good service. Within walking distance from train station and shops. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Was very quiet at night, no noise outside or in the hotel.
