It's a budget hotel which could do with some decoration and repair, but all is made good by the superb staff: friendly, welcoming and altogether human. From the desk staff to the cleaners everyone was kind and decent.

Had a wonderful stay over at the Premier Inn Goldsmith Street, just a short walk away from Rock City

Staff very welcoming and rooms as clean as ever, even had a nice guy order us a pizza and delivered to our room!

I stay at this hotel as it's close to where I need to get to, as I'm in a wheelchair, but, when staying here they never explain PEEPS to you, this is something that should be done without guests having to ask about it. Also I do not agree that they have now taken phones out from the rooms, so if you need to contact reception you have to do this on your own mobile phone, or go to reception. This can cause problems and stress for disabled guests. As when I stayed recently I rang reception to enquire about something regarding their restaurants, and is never got a call back. I find this very un-professional and not acceptable.

Nice Hotel, clean and comfortable with friendly staff, but more expensive than out of town hotels.
Parking is a bit of a problem and expensive.
Very handy for city centre.
All you can eat breakfast is expensive if you only eat a little. Cheaper to go into the town centre.

Hello,
If you are looking for a nice clean room, with a comfortable bed, then room 318 is a good choice.

BUT!

If you are a person who needs Wi-Fi for business, then stay away from room 318. There is no Wi-Fi access at all. To be even more precise, stay away from rooms 14 through 20 on all floors, as they are on a small wing of the building, and as soon as you go around the corner of the corridor, the Wi-Fi signal drops by half, when you get to the room, it disappears completely.

Room Tip: Pros: Nice clean room, comfortable bed, and location is great to get to city center. About a 5 minut...

Stayed here for one night as we were seeing a show at The Capital Arena, which is only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Nice and clean with friendly staff. We had a problem with a lock on our door, but the staff changed our room really quickly with no fuss whatsoever. This was on the £29.00 offer so a real bargain. Will def stay again offer or not. Only 5 mins from centre of Nottingham and tram stops right outside of the hotel, if you prefer not to walk. Only downside is limited parking you have to pre-book if you want a space. We didn't but there is a multistory round the corner, works out at £14 for 24 hrs.

Just returned from a two stay night stay to celebrate my birthday.

On arrival we were met by a very friendly and efficient receptionist who checked us in very quickly. We stayed in Room 104 which is on the front of the hotel overlooking the University building and the tram lines. The room was spacious warm and clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a good sized bath and powerful hot shower.

We had no problem with noise on the Friday night even though the trams start very early. However on the Saturday night we were woken a few times by the noise of people shouting in the street and at about 4.00 a.m. by the room above ours which started playing loud music and the guests shouting at top of their voices. On departure when we were asked if we had enjoyed our stay we said yes, apart from the noise and explained the situation. The receptionist to our surprise said we would get a refund for this inconvenience. We were very pleased by this goodwill gesture.

The location of this hotel is good with a regular tram line into the City centre which we used or about a ten minute walk. This was our first visit to a Premier Inn and we would have no hesitation in using one again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel especially on a weekend
