I booked this premier inn after reading that it was convenient to get into central Nottingham the tram runs right outside ,although it is only a 10 minute walk into the centre which we did most days as the weather was lovely,
I have stopped at various premier and this again did not disappoint ,rooms were clean staff always cheerful and helpful.
Only downside was we booked for an evening meal and had to wait over an hour ,never experienced this before in a premier apparently only one cook on but staff were apologetic about the wait and it was not there fault but meal was good value and quality when it arrived .
The other small thing is the heating /air conditioning it was warm and it does not work to cool the room there were other colleagues in the hotel was there for a conference and none of there's worked ,but we were all supplied with fans .
Would I stop here again definitely yes for value of money in a clean ,friendly hotel ,breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice in a central position.

As expected, we enjoyed our three night stay with the usual good food, comfortable room and friendly, efficient service, commencing with a smiling welcome from Lia, who checked us in. Monster vegan breakfast of fruit juices, grapefruit segments, fruit salad, berry compote, porridge (made with water), hash browns, tomato, mushrooms (cooked in olive oil instead of butter on request) and beans, toast, preserves and quality ethical espressos and americanos from the Costas machine. Surprisingly we discovered a vegan evening meal which was not on the menu; squash, spinach and lentil curry with rice. Great location, a quick five to ten minute walk into the city centre. Places of interest, just minutes away, include Nottingham General Cemetery, which contains 193 First World War and 134 Second World War burials, and The Arboretum, a beautifully landscaped oasis of trees, shrubs and flowers.

Oh dear god!

Booked in online including car but couldn't park due to no room! but it's okay for staff to park in disabled spaces, car didn't appear to have a disabled badge?
Immediate extra cost of £10 per night to park around the corner that's with the £4 discount offered.

Room is hot a stuffy with no air
Conditioning and the window barely opened. 26 degrees in the room it was only 15 outside!!

First fan provided was broken and didn't move from side to side. As we left for out night out we asked at the reception for another. We were told on our return it would be replaced.
Came back to find the broken one still there.
I had to return to go back to reception where a new one was eventually brought up. This one required bending as it was hitting the safety guard and making a hell of a racket!

Bathroom small with the loudest fan known to man! No chance of a relaxing bath here unless it's in darkness.
Sealant around the bath was covered in mildew and needs replacing, this was also around the fixtures around the bath!

Needless to say no happy nights sleep as guaranteed!

We had the fan blowing on us all night whilst sleeping on top of the duvet. Very little sleep as a result and feeling shattered twenty four hours on.

They offer a great nights sleep guaranteed lets see if they are as good as their word?

We stayed here to attend the fine art degree show last week. Despite our good intentions of leaving early and with really heavy traffic on the motorway, when the tom tom led us to a dead end and with local shop keepers unable to direct us, we feared we would be late. It seems this particular premier inn is quite difficult to find unless you know where you're going. Desperate and by now very stressed, I rang the hotel for help. The young lady (sorry I didn't get your name and you weren't on duty the next morning) on reception was faultless, she was calm and collected and when all else failed, she directed us close enough for her to come out of the hotel and find us, directing us straight to the car park where Nigel on reception had reserved us a car parking space. We were booked straight into our room - up to the usual good standard of a premier inn, clean and tidy, possibly a little on the warm side and a bit noisy with the window open but nevertheless well worth the £35 we paid. The hotel is in a very central location so we are at the show within minutes and had a lovely evening. Breakfast the next morning was again up to the expected standard although this particular premier inn restaurant is a bit on the small side and so gets very busy. Thank you though to the staff who went the extra mile and got us to the degree show on time. The way a hotel treats it's customers is what makes the difference and I have to say on this occasion, the staff at premier inn excelled themselves in a way that was genuinely over and above the norm. Well done and thank you again!

Very cheap for three night stay. Was in a good location for the city centre and pleasant surroundings despite being in what seemed like the middle of the university. Tram stop just outside the door, although we didn't go on it and a costa right next door. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. When we visited there were men working in the corridors and wires hanging from the ceilings which was a little noisy but not too bad. The massive down side was the temperature of the room. There is no air conditioning and with both the windows open and the fan they supplied being on all night, the room temperature still read 26°. Although it was warm outside it was still jacket weather, so don't know how the in room temperature was so high. Next time will make sure we stay in a hotel that has air conditioning.
