See separate review of the restaurant this review is for the rooms.
Initial impression was good , a lovely courtyard warm welcome with complimentary brownies.
We stayed in room 1 which was across the courtyard from the restaurant. It was quite small and only 1 chair standard sized bed. The bath was in the room toilet separate but almost too small to use with the door closed.
Nowhere to put a cup down except on the tea tray and only 1 bedside lamp tells you how cramped it was.
The real problem was the sleep quality, partly because the blinds didn't fully cover the windows and there were lights outside which shone in and partly because of the noise from an adjacent room at 4 am.
Would not stay here again even though the restaurant was superb and breakfast excellentMore
