“Unexpectedly enjoyable”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

Took a group of foreign visitors. Not keen to go but had no choice and I'm so glad I did.

Excellent staff in costume and character to guide you round with interesting anecdotes. Very helpful and knowledgable.

Great for children too. Nice little shop area.

“A step back in time”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

An excellent way to spend a wet morning in Nottingham, from the mock trial to the oubliette, lots of information on how justice was carried out by and to our forbears. Suits all ages, with friendly and helpful assistants on hand

Well worth a visit, loads of history in this building. Regular tours which are included but if you dont want to do a tour you can get a recorded description. You can get a ticket that entitles you to visit the caves as well.

“Good Family Experience”

The guided show was entertaining and engaging. It was a real eye-opener being shut in a 'luxury' cell and the dungeon was just horrific. Would recommend.

“Good”

Went here even though it is aimed for children with school. It was fun though and interesting. Surprisingly the tour guides kept in character for the entire tour which was both annoying and funny!
