Lovely, traditional theatre, seats were comfortable and views of stage/show were excellent. This production of The Nutcracker, by The English Youth Ballet was absolutely wonderful and extremely professional - all the young children involved put on an amasing and very enjoyable show. One thing to note - Parking next to the theatre is a little tricky, but there are car parks nearby.

Fab shows all the time, we go at least four times per year. Everything is always fun and both the theatre and concert hall are well worth the visit

We came here for my granddaughters graduation. The concert area seemed pleasant. Surrounding areas were also spacious and well maintained

Lovely place, with very good air con. Great view from seat even though it was on the top tier. Only dislike was the steps down to the seats, they were steep without rails in the middle 2 aisles. You had to walk to the end of a row & step over lots of people to be safe in my opinion.

I went to the Theatre Royal to see Tonight's The Night!. It was the first time I'd ever been to the Theatre Royal and it certainly won't be the last! The website for booking tickets was easy to navigate, which definitely helped. The venue was spotless and the seats were comfortable. The decoration provides an atmosphere and a sense of grandeur. The staff were friendly and helpful and it all felt very well organised. My only problem was the highly over priced bar.
