We stayed one night here on New Year's Day and the hotel was really quiet. Our executive room on the first floor had windows on two sides, overlooking the entrance and car park. It was small but nicely decorated, with comfy bed, desk, large flat screen TV hung off the wall, power points next to the bed, kettle but no fridge. The bathroom was small with plenty of storage space but no bath.
We had trouble getting the room warm as the thermostat didn't seem to reflect the actual temperature, but when we contacted reception they bought us a heater, which was fine.
We had a bar meal, which was fine and cost £47 including drinks for two. Breakfast was cooked to order because they were so quiet and it was very good. Service was good too.
The location is lovely if you have a car to get into Nottingham itself.
