This hotel does what it says on the tin. Very handy for transport into city centre and with acceptable car parking. The executive rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet and clean. The food is also well presented and good value . Service staff throughout the hotel were fine we would stay here again BUT the pillows are hard and filled with a synthetic block, not good.
A good value hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for an executive room at the back nothing you could call a view but much quieter.

UK road trip. We stayed at Best Westminster Nottingham on the final leg of our trip. Location was great. On the main road and very easy to find.
Good parking which is a bonus. Reception staff greeted us with warm genuine smiles. No stress check in and straight to our room.
We weren't fussed on anything fancy, just a good bed in a quiet room and the hotel delivered.
Very clean and bed very comfortable. We didn't use restaurant as we had planned on a VERY early night seeing as we checked out at 4am to head back to London and avoid traffic ( best decision we made all trip for those that are doing similar trips). So dinner was had at the pub across the road.
Check out was easy. 4 am and 24hour desk is a good thing. Reception staff just as friendly as check in staff.
A very comfortable stay at a very nice price.

Once we had changed our room (with no fuss) to one where we could no longer hear or 'feel' the booming bass from the restaurant below, it was as much as we expected, everything was standard B.W. the large coloured girl on the reception however could do with a customer relations course. Whilst she was not outright rude, she was however curt and unfriendly. The food was nice though, no complaints at all there, comfy bed too.

We needed to stay for a couple of days in Nottingham on business and booked ahead at the Best Western. On arrival being meet by a luke warm welcome by staff we made our way to the room on the first floor. The room was small and smelt dreadful as we walked in, very musty and damp and with only a small top window to open became quite overpowered by the small. The room was very very hot with no circulation other then a noisy old fan to keep the hot air moving. The bed was so soft and worn combined with cheap springy pillows that we hardly slept all night especially combined with the intense heat. We did ask to move to another room for the second night which was a bit better, certainly smell free and the bed a little harder but throughout the stay the staff were not that interested or understanding. both rooms had bedside lamps that did not work. I also had booked the hotel due to its free wifi but could not get my laptop logged on and my iphone was very very slow due to the obvious heavy local usage of the facility. I did ask the reception about the problem and they did offer to help if I got really really desperate. I decided not the disturb them in the end, I don't like to impose!!! With no wifi or breakfast included and based on the poor service and rest, I would not re-book or recommend and would describe this hotel as an expensive overnight car park with a decent shower!! Avoid.

We stayed for one night in July.

We had booked dinner, B&B for the executive room which was available on the website. However we couldn't have dinner due to a large party taking place so we asked for B&B instead and went to town for dinner. Reception offered dinner at 6pm or 9.15pm - not convenient for us - so I was surprised that changing dinner B&B to B&B wasn't offered, we had to ask.

The room itself was fine and the aircon was very welcome on a hot day. The rest of the hotel is very dated. I wouldn't recommend staying there for any length of time or for a special occassion.

Room Tip: Pay extra for executive room with aircon in a heatwave.
