My son and I stayed at this hotel as we were visiting my uni attending son, the staff were very friendly from the time we checked in until we left. The room was clean as you would expect from Premier Inn. The only complaint with the room was that the TV had very poor reception and no BBC channels worked at all. The breakfast was nice and relaxed with very helpful staff. I haven't given the hotel five stars ,as including breakfast and parking it cost £88 for one night.

This Hotel was typical Premier Inn! Always friendly clean and comfortable and never let's us down! It's a 5 minute walk to the tram that will take you straight into town and at a reduced price if you have a Theatre ticket! I Will be coming back as there is lots to do and see in Nottingham! What a lovely city!

Stayed at this inn on Friday night after visiting FM Arena only 15 minute walk away. Also close to Lace market and Victoria centre in other direction which we comfortably walked in 15 mins but could be slightly too far for others. We were met by friendly staff on check in and given a few names of bars to visit after the show. We had to pay £3 for overnight parking so not sure how the other reviewer got their parking free? The room was clean and the bed was big! That's the good bit. We were constantly woken throughout the night by doors banging open and closed! The thermostat was stuck on 23 although the room was slightly cold in the morning? we would have mentioned it but we were getting up and leaving. We had prepaid for the cooked breakfasts, went down at 10 sat down straightaway asked to be given few mins to see what we wanted but no one returned to take the order but eventually ordered it and were still waiting at 11! Another couple had been waiting an hour too, we all eventually received our breakfasts but they were inedible. We were not happy we all complained. The waitress apologised and said it's not fair that she gets the flack for mistakes from the kitchen, passed onto reception that we weren't happy and to give us a breakfast refund. Which we received. When we checked out we were asked if we'd had a good stay, we mentioned about being woken throughout the night by doors banging constantly but got an oh dear sorry about that. We said goodbye and she ignored us! Don't think criticism goes down too well at this inn!! Overall we were pleased with the location but left tired and hungry.

We were in Nottingham for the weekend and stayed at the Premier Inn. This is the one on the London Road, as there is more than one in the area. The Hotel is not far from the City Centre, and there is a car park which was not busy as it was a weekend. Check in was very easy, and the staff on the desk were very helpful. The room was fine, and the design and layout is similar in all the Premier Inns. We did not have any problems. In the evening, we ate out, and so can't comment on supper in the restaurant. We did have breakfast there. As always, this is excellent value. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant looks out over what must be part of the canal system or something, and the food was good. When you consider you can pay well over double this in some hotels, I think it is very good value. I would happily stay here again.

Great location, free parking, lovely clean rooms, comfy bed, friendly staff!! Only slight downside was the food in restaurant, just processed and not good quality.
Perfect location to stay in Nottingham.

My wife and I stayed here for one night after seeing Cirque De Soleil, Alegria, at the Nottingham Arena.

We arrived at 1 30 in the afternoon and received a very warm welcome and we were happy to be told our room was ready even though check in wasn't until 2 00.

The room was, as expected, spacious with a large double bed. It had all we needed and was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom.

As Nottingham was extremely busy, we decided to walk back to the hotel for our evening meal before the show. We were both very happy with our meal and with the service, which was excellent bearing in mind how busy the restaurant was. Most of the guests were also going to the Cirque De Soleil show and clearly decided to eat at the hotel too.

Breakfast was equally busy when we went down to the restaurant at 9 30, but once again the service was excellent, as was the all you can eat breakfast.

We were a little concerned about traffic noise when we went to bed as our room overlooked the main road. We needn't have worried as the window is suitably glazed so were hardly disturbed at all and slept well in the comfortable bed.

Another bonus is the hotel car park, especially as it only costs £3.00 per night. A bargain in Nottingham city centre.

The hotel is well placed, with easy access to the centre of Nottingham, which is in easy walking distance. It is also very easy to get too and from.

Highly recommended.
