“No airconditioning”
Reviewed 1 October 2012

Was here in Aug. no airconditioning. Way to hot and stuffy. No amenities at hotel. No telephone in room. Their reason was because it was on the first floor. Are you kidding me????? They only give you 30 mins of free Wi-Fi. Then cost £

Nice quiet and peaceful stay with excellent parking facilities. Ideally located to suit my needs to the place of my visit and the city centre close too for a night out.

The hotel also provided breakfast and Wifi facilities

Room Tip: good for families/ business/ solo and for couples... budget hotels and last minute bookings

We stayed here recently (for the 8th or 9th time) to visit family nearby!! We use Premier Inns all over the country on a fairly regular basis and always find this hotel to be very clean and the staff welcoming and helpful. This visit we were booked into a ground floor room which we don't like but there was no problem changing to a first floor room despite the fact the hotel was quite full, We needed extra towels etc and they were delivered to the room in minutes. The parking facilities are also excellent - there are now notices from the police regarding safety of your vehicle and contents but that is probably standard in any city these days.

Our only complaint is about the pub next door to the hotel. I see from the reviews that many people enjoy the food there and I suppose for the money, it's okay - however, we have stayed in so many Premier Inns where the food is excellent, though a little bit more pricey, that we found it to be disgusting (for the second time) and have no intention of eating there again! There is a Wetherspoons nearby which is far better and we always go to Sainsbury's for breakfast, a 5 minute walk away and much, much improved! We feel this Premier Inn is let down by the pub next door!

Room Tip: The quietest rooms are at the back - corner rooms are much more spacious but in all the times we hav...

Stayed at this hotel for one night. We were checked in quickly by a very friendly receptionist. We were allocated room 63 on the 2nd floor at the back, as I had requested a quiet room - which it was, never heard a sound. The only quibble with the room was that it was rather hot (but it had been a very warm day), however 2 fans were provided. Breakfast was served in the adjacent pub - staff were very welcoming, a great selection of food, all well cooked and served promptly. Parking good and only a short drive to the Park & Ride which gives you access by tram to the city centre.
Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor at the back of the hotel - very quiet

I have stayed in lots of hotels / motels over my years, some expensive and some not so, this is why I wanted to review the Daybrook Premier Inn, Nottingham.
My husband, 12 yr old son and my self were attending a friends wedding and had an overnight stay here end of Aug 2012.
The parking was good. The staff are friendly, professional and do their best to make your stay comfortable. When booking in I asked for extra pillows and a rear facing room, on arrival I asked if there were plenty of tea bags in the room, without hesitation the receptionist gave me a handful of extra tea, milk and sugar and advised me that the extra pillows were in the room, and our room was rear facing.
The room had a large double bed and a good size single bed (not a camp bed) , tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable, cosy, quiet and the beds were a good size and comfortable, the en suite bathroom was also good size.
We ate breakfast in the pub next door, the food was good quality, lots of choice, hot and plentiful, the staff very nice and the restaurant was clean.
We arrived in Nottingham at 1pm, the hotel check in time was 2pm, so we did not check in until 9pm. Other weddding guests told us they went to the hotel at 1pm and were allowed to book in early, so if early it's worth asking to check in early.

Room Tip: it's worth asking to check in early, if its not too early or busy.

We stayed here on the night before going to Wheelgate Park. The staff was very friendly and helped me with my luggage to the room. The room was nice and clean. The food was good. My husband arrived late from London (after 10pm) so the restaurant staff made up his dinner to take away. Great nights sleep :) Due to having such a good night's sleep, we arrived late for breakfast but they accommodated us which was brilliant!!

Stayed 2 nights at the Premier Inn Daybrook Nottingham as we were attending a wedding. Could not fault staff they were very friendly and helpful making sure other rooms would be ready on the Saturday for guests who were arriving before 2pm to attend the wedding. The hotel was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The food was good especially the breakfast. My husband would recommend the Old Speckled Hen beer in the pub next door. Would definitely recommend this Premier Inn!

Room Tip: Stayed in one of the rooms at the back.
