We had a great meal, and a great time. Food was authentic and amazing and the staff added that extra dimension that will make this evening one that our family will never forget. Fun, warm, and delicious - simple adjectives that don’t really begin to describe the experience. Can’t wait to come back. Try the chili chicken garlic.

We visited early evening on a Saturday. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The food was probably the best i have had. The curry was amazing, as were the potato cakes on the starter. The apple and mint chutney was delicious with the popadoms. A great meal!!

Had a great Indian meal with colleagues, courses looked deliciously prepared and service was excellent. As a celiac, I was well cared for and enjoyed to find there was also gluten free beer on the menu.

Would definitely eat here again!

We booked to eat here before the theatre. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and we agreed times for the courses to be brought out in order that we left in sufficient time for our evening entertainment. The surroundings are very upmarket and service swift and efficient. The food was excellent and none of us could fault our meals. The wine was good and very reasonably priced. To cap it all we got 20% off every starter and main course as a result of eating early!
Certainly coming back next time we are out in Nottingham!

A very busy Wednesday night in November a colleague and I arrived at peak time with a full restaurant. Not to worry, the owner welcomed us with a much needed refreshment at the bar whilst a table was readied. Lamb cutlets for starter and then chicken tandoori for main - cooked to perfection.

It was busy and mid meal our order of drinks was lost en route to the table, but quickly resolved by one of the staff. The food was superb and the hospitality very welcoming on a cold November night.

There are plenty choices for such food in Nottingham, but I would say that Calcutta Club is right up there. Gets my vote.
