I went to Cryptology last week as part of a team building exercise and the game was great. It was the first time any of us had been into this type of puzzle game and we all really enjoyed it. The owner was really enthusiastic as well which helped get everyone into the puzzles. Well worth a try. I want to go back and do the other room now.

This was our first experience of an escape room so didn't know quite what to expect, but we definitely weren't disappointed. We had 3 family members in our group, and chose the Cypherdyne room which was an office environment. Obviously don't want to give too much away and spoil the experience, but safe to say the hour flew by and we were fully engaged trying to use logic to solve the clues. Plus we did it in under an hour and got employed (big bonus!) A great teambuilding exercise, or just a great way to spend an hour with family and friends - definitely a way to find out people's strengths and weaknesses. One comment we did say after, if we were doing a work team-building exercise, would be great to be able to record the time in the room and replay it to understand what went well and what could be improved. Not that this is needed for most groups, but this additional feature could make it even better for work groups! Overall a great activity and a great way to spend an hour, definitely using the brain cells. Looking forward to trying the other room and see if we can do as well.

Had a brilliant time with my 14 and 10 year old granddaughters.
Entered a boring looking room. Not a clue anywhere. We searched.....We found one! From then on the action and craziness in the room exploded as gradually we found clue after clue. We thought, we shouted, one jumped up and down in the air......One used her logic! Phew.....was I glad of the 14 year old. Time ticked. Tension mounted. One person's logic abounded by the second. Clue were random. Just keep cool and look......everywhere! Minutes ticked by. Random 'clues' were spied.....and discounted. Time ticked loudly. We couldn't fail! Finally. .....We achieved the end result and we're out in 55.41 minutes!
Excellent and exciting venture.
Would be a great venue for many events from a a small teenage ( not small teenagers!) birthday treat to adult or corporate team building......or just for logical fun!
Mark (owner) was a fount of knowledge and enthusiasm about Cryptology and a real enthusiast.
