This was a really delightful B&B to stay in. Set in a quiet, peaceful location the views from the spacious bedroom are to die for. If you are looking to get away from it all this is the place to stay. The host, Juliana, is extremely friendly and helpful and she really goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The room and bathroom are quite large and spotlessly clean. It is about a 5-10min drive to Burford but there is a pub within a 10-15 min walk that serves quite nice meals and the houses in the village are very quaint. I would thoroughly recommend this B & B as it has been the best of our stay in the UK!

Really this is the best B&B ever! Lovely rooms, clean and bright, well equipped and with big
en-suite bathrooms. Delightfully comfortable beds and great views of the beautiful Windrush Valley from every window. Juliana is an immaculate host, friendly and helpful if needed as well as being discrete and polite. The breakfast is superb. Fresh fruit, cereals, Greek yoghurt (yum) and juice, fresh coffee or tea and plenty of it as well as a superb cooked breakfast with a choice of eggs, lots of toast and really good local bacon and sausages as well as home made marmalade.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great just book early to avoid disappointment.....or maybe I should keep this plac...

My wife and I wanted a B&B for our stay in the Cotswolds outside of one of the towns rather than in town so that we could enjoy the countryside. The Copse was the perfect place and is not "commercial". Located close to Burford in Windrush, a very small village, and up a small lane it offered a convenient location to explore from and peace and quiet. Julia was a wonderful host and offered all of the advice on "off the beaten path" sites that might interest us and recommendations on places to eat along the way. The location is a ten minute drive from Burford, a large bustling touristy town (as most of the larger Cotswold towns are) with plenty of choices for dining. Windrush itself is a small village with a beautiful church, that time seems to have passed by. We enjoyed Julia's flower garden, sitting outside in the late afternoon drinking wine and watching the horses and the breakfasts were fabulous. For excercise, walking on the short lane, and around Windrush will have to do. If you are looking for a slower pace and warm hospitality, you can't do better than the Copse.

In a small village 10 minutes from Burford. Very easy to find village and house. A few minutes from Inn for all Seasons Restaurant. The views from the bedroom are amazing and tranquilizing. The bathroom is big and all is excellent indeed. A friendly host and everything worked! The garden looked nice indeed. What else could one ask for? We will return.

Room Tip: They are both good.

Certainly a B&B to be recommended. Juliana was the perfect host, making us most welcome and answering all our questions about the area and it's attractions. The en-suite room was bright, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. And the breakfasts - spoilt for choice. Difficult to choose between the local sausages, mushrooms or the fresh fruit. So why not taste it all?

Despite its close proximity to the A40, this B&B is situated in a very quiet country lane with beautiful views. The spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms are well appointed and clean. We stayed for 4 days and Juliana provided useful recommendations for evening meals. The breakfasts were superb. We definitely recommend The Copse and will be staying there again ourselves.

We were looking for a place in the countryside and this place was simply perfect! The host was lovely, the rooms are brand new and the view is breathtaking! There are plenty of trails around and is only 5 min from Burford if you fancy a more tourist area!
Highly recomended!
