My wife and I stayed here for a weekend break in the autumn. The hotel is a modern extension to a large old hall set in acres of parkland with a golf course and leisure club.
The receptionists were very friendly and helpful even though we arrived at the same time as a Japanese coach party. We were given an executive room on the first floor overlooking reception. The room was very modern, lots of silver and glass with a huge bathroom. The only concern was a lack of hanging space for clothes.
We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was excellent. The restaurant was busy on both nights but the service was good and we did not have any excessive delay over our orders.
We walked around the park and the older parts of the building and it was very clean and well cared for.
Overall it was a relaxing stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it.More
