We'd booked a room in The Row Barge a year in advance for the Rewind Festival, through Late Rooms. The week before the festival we rang the inn to check on arrangements only to be told they didn't have our booking......major problem we thought as we already had our festival tickets and no chance of finding another room in Henley. How wrong we were, Cath (the owner) pulled out all the stops and arranged for us to have use of a lovely house in the centre of Henley. When we arrived at the Row Barge we were bought a drink then taken into the delightful beer garden where we chatted with Cath. When we'd finished our drinks Cath took us to the house to meet the owner and even gave us money for breakfast to save us having to walk back up the hill to the Row Barge.
Obviously I can't comment on the accommodation but we were given a very warm welcome and the evening meal we had in the Inn was lovely. A big thank you to Cath for sorting us out and a massive thank you to Ollie for letting us have his lovely home for the weekend.More
