Just back from three days here for a business meeting. This venue is stunning despite the very wet weather - very nearly Henley IN Thames !. Facilities are excellent, our conference room well equipped and well attended by staff throughout. Few little niggles during the stay, the weather didn't help the regular tooing and froing in and out of the various buildings, minor hiccups on checking out, and the accommodation whilst spotlessly clean and tidy IS small....automatic shower door which opens when you bend over !.
Overall a very good conference venue - I have experienced MUCH worse !. Special mention of the dining room staff who were excellent as was the food itself.

Gorgeous setting and small but perfectly formed in every way, accommodation at a great price.
Having scoured the area for somewhere to stay within our budget I stumbled on the Business School. Everything looked good and the price was right but nothing I saw online prepared me for the spectacular reality. It is right on the River Thames in beautiful listed buildings once a stately home and now the business school. There's a gym, tennis courts and swimming pool, a bar and restaurant. Not your usual B&B. We had single rooms booked and single they were. But that was OK as the duvet, pillows and towels were white, light and fluffy. The toiletries Molton Brown and everything you could think you'd need - was there. We were snug, cosy and comfortable The housekeeping was first class. Reception in the dormer house had bowls of beautiful fresh fruit to help yourself from.
Breakfast was buffet and surprising too in the exceptional choice offered and quality too. The brown bread was granary or you could slice from an organic seeded loaf. Cooked selection superb. There was smoked salmon, beautiful fruit salads - honestly - it was top class.
Criticms - there has to be some....
1. Be prepared to walk quite a way from reception to your accommodation house - you can't drive there and the car parks aren't near either. The walk is beautiful along pathways and they give you umbrellas but you've got to be aware of this and if it's an issue - see if you can get a room in the main building.
2. The shower - it works - it's okay - but you go through a rainbow of temperatures and pressures.
3. The central lighting - must be a 20watt bulb - useless. But they give you an angle poise lamp on the desk so you do have lighting - just the overhead is not worth flicking the switch on and off for.
4. You have to vacate your room at 9am. which is early in anyone's books as a rule.

Room Tip: We stayed in 23 & 24 in Paddock House which is near the gym but at the end of the property so th...

Henley Business School has a high quality accommodation in terms of location in a beautiful 30-acre campus by the Thames, very friendly and helpful whole staff team and superlative management with hearts.

Checking-in the college’s Thames Court on a Thursday and stayed for 5 nights. My colleague and I had a twin-room in ground floor – very clean, spacious and functional. The safe cabinet next to the work desk add good space to our piles of documents. Our room is disability accessible. There is a little fastener ties around the shower head so that it doesn't accidentally fall and hurt anyone – a tiny little feature speaks for extremely attentive, thoughtful service and management.

Restaurant food exceeds expectation. We had lunch buffet – very tasty fish & chips and mushroom burger is one of the highlights. The mushrooms look ordinary but tastes extraordinary – MUST TRY!

On Saturday and Sunday, we are the only accommodation guest, the whole restaurant and galley team were there to serve two people (Marco, the restaurant supervisor took care of our breakfast). They could have chosen not to take our reservation but it didn't happen. I am speechless.

We make use of the Academic Resources Centre to work on our project. The ARC even has a quiet room. EXCELLENT!

It was a quiet weekend in campus – no weddings, no parties. We literally stayed in a huge private estate.

The campus and the Thames are simply beautiful – at all times.

I give it a “six-star” - accommodation experience beyond compare.

As wedding venues go this has to be fairly high on the list. HBS combines a beautiful riverside setting with an old hall feel to the main house and "upmarket" student accommodation. The staff were unfailingly polite and seemed genuinely pleased that they were being given the responsibility of looking after a wedding celebration. Breakfast was obviously a well practiced operation but provided an excellent start to the day of the wedding and a much needed "lift" to those who might have over indulged on the day after. The wedding breakfast was more than adequate and although not touching any particular culinary heights was well presented. The accommodation may have a student feel to it but the rooms are fairly well appointed and the showers drew admiring comments from a number of the wedding guests. The grounds are well maintained and provided a number of photo opportunities before and during the wedding. There is a reasonable size gym on site - plenty of "gym equipment" - no one using it! Overall an excellent venue for a wedding reception

I came here for a business lecture, a bit of a trek from Yorkshire but its in a really beautiful place. It's right on the bank of the Thames and close to some lovely countryside and little villages. The campus is very nice but there's not very much to do. The pool is closed, but it was outside so doubt I'd have gone in anyway. There is a gym if your thy way inclined. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a little coffee shop anywhere but in hind sight there were loads of coffee machines that you could activate free with you swipe card, and plenty of places to sit. There is free wifi and I connected relatively painlessly on my I phone and laptop. I had very little phone signal, absolutely none in 3 network and some just about good enough to make a call with Vodafone.
The rooms were modern, clean, tidy. The shower was nice with Molten Brown toiletries, bonus! My room was quite peaceful until housekeeping came around in the morning. The walls are quite thin. My colleagues room faced the courtyard on the bottom floor and he was woken up a couple of times by noisy people going back to there room.
We ate in the bar at night, it's open 8pm til 9.30pm, for bar snacks according to the room info but it was a bit better than that. I had lamb steak and chips and it was lovely! The drinks were reasonable.
We had a nightmare with our hire car and the staff we very very helpful.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this place! The only thing that lets it down is it location, not withing walking distance of anywhere really, unless yoi fancy a good half hour walk. Very pretty, lovely surroundings, good standard rooms, nice food and good service!

I note your comment ref our remote location, we are indeed located on the outskirts of Henley on Thames, approx 2 miles miles, however only 5 mins by car or taxi, or 20 mins by boat!

Popped in for a coffee before a swim - lovely surroundings - great grounds and efficient and polite service. My wife said her food was lovely too.
The location on the Thames was awesome and the morning mist made it look very English.
I'd be happy to attend courses here.

The rooms are student style but so is the price. They are quite adequate for a few nights stay. The grounds are right along the river bank. There is a good bar with Marlow Brewey's Rebellion on offer. Its bed and breakfast, with breakfast buffet style with an excellent choice. It is a walk to the bedrooms which might be off putting if the weather was bad but the sun shone for us and it gave us the chance to look around.

Room Tip: Choose one away from the rear which backs onto the Marlow Road.
