Just completed a great stay. Arrived very late after wedding but had no problem being guided to room by night receptionist. Room was very comfortable & spacious with brilliant shower. Breakfast was very extensive and staff were supremely friendly and helpful. The setting by the bank of the River Thames is wonderful all for a good value £80.00 for two.

So why almost? First the WiFi would not work. Reception succeeded after a big effort to get it to work once but I needed to log on for a second time connection proved impossible. Second communication. We were told there was no breakfast available and then later it was available at extra cost when in fact there was a brilliant one included.

The niggles are small. It was a wonderful stay.

Stayed one night during this years Regatta. Great stay. Very helpful and welcoming staff. I stayed in a business school room which was clean, functional and had everything you would want. I had to leave before breakfast in the morning and the staff could not do enough for me to get me a packed breakfast or pastries and fruit and a coffee to go. Price was great too for a room within walking distance of Henley during the regatta.

We needed somewhere to stay overnight in Henley and this place had some very good reviews on Tripadvisor so we booked. Not the cheapest hotel we've ever stayed in (£115 for B & B), the rooms were fairly basic in some respects particularly in size, it wasn't in the centre of Henley and the main road route is treacherous for walking with no footpaths on either side BUT this is a business school venue primarily not a hotel so perhaps that should be expected AND the views are superb, the breakfast was amongst the best I've had in any hotel, the staff were friendly and polite (especially in the bar) there is ample, secure parking and the walk along the river into Henley itself was really enjoyable - although it does take about an hour and it would have to be a lovely sunny day! We found out there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it takes less than 10 mins to get into Henley and at £4 for a return ticket is much better value than the local taxis that seem to charge double what we would usually expect to pay. Overall, well worth a visit and although not my first choice if we visited Henley again, it would certainly be near the top of my list. Highly recommended.

This was my second visit. The external building is being refurbished. Rooms at Thames building are perfect, last year they were excellent. Some degradation is quality of the room service was noted.
Lecture Room was adequate but the tables set out was poor as whoever (like me) was positioned looking at the wrong direction, hence three full days of turning around each time between taking notes and looking at the lecture and presentations. Ended with some neck pain.
Food was excellent and well prepared. University Staff make you feel welcome and 'at home' instantly. Checkout facilities poor for the high volume of business travellers.
Located at one of the best areas of Reading with the Thames just a few meters away. It is a pity that both visits were spoilt with continuous rain.

Just back from three days here for a business meeting. This venue is stunning despite the very wet weather - very nearly Henley IN Thames !. Facilities are excellent, our conference room well equipped and well attended by staff throughout. Few little niggles during the stay, the weather didn't help the regular tooing and froing in and out of the various buildings, minor hiccups on checking out, and the accommodation whilst spotlessly clean and tidy IS small....automatic shower door which opens when you bend over !.
Overall a very good conference venue - I have experienced MUCH worse !. Special mention of the dining room staff who were excellent as was the food itself.

Gorgeous setting and small but perfectly formed in every way, accommodation at a great price.
Having scoured the area for somewhere to stay within our budget I stumbled on the Business School. Everything looked good and the price was right but nothing I saw online prepared me for the spectacular reality. It is right on the River Thames in beautiful listed buildings once a stately home and now the business school. There's a gym, tennis courts and swimming pool, a bar and restaurant. Not your usual B&B. We had single rooms booked and single they were. But that was OK as the duvet, pillows and towels were white, light and fluffy. The toiletries Molton Brown and everything you could think you'd need - was there. We were snug, cosy and comfortable The housekeeping was first class. Reception in the dormer house had bowls of beautiful fresh fruit to help yourself from.
Breakfast was buffet and surprising too in the exceptional choice offered and quality too. The brown bread was granary or you could slice from an organic seeded loaf. Cooked selection superb. There was smoked salmon, beautiful fruit salads - honestly - it was top class.
Criticms - there has to be some....
1. Be prepared to walk quite a way from reception to your accommodation house - you can't drive there and the car parks aren't near either. The walk is beautiful along pathways and they give you umbrellas but you've got to be aware of this and if it's an issue - see if you can get a room in the main building.
2. The shower - it works - it's okay - but you go through a rainbow of temperatures and pressures.
3. The central lighting - must be a 20watt bulb - useless. But they give you an angle poise lamp on the desk so you do have lighting - just the overhead is not worth flicking the switch on and off for.
4. You have to vacate your room at 9am. which is early in anyone's books as a rule.

Room Tip: We stayed in 23 & 24 in Paddock House which is near the gym but at the end of the property so th...

Henley Business School has a high quality accommodation in terms of location in a beautiful 30-acre campus by the Thames, very friendly and helpful whole staff team and superlative management with hearts.

Checking-in the college’s Thames Court on a Thursday and stayed for 5 nights. My colleague and I had a twin-room in ground floor – very clean, spacious and functional. The safe cabinet next to the work desk add good space to our piles of documents. Our room is disability accessible. There is a little fastener ties around the shower head so that it doesn't accidentally fall and hurt anyone – a tiny little feature speaks for extremely attentive, thoughtful service and management.

Restaurant food exceeds expectation. We had lunch buffet – very tasty fish & chips and mushroom burger is one of the highlights. The mushrooms look ordinary but tastes extraordinary – MUST TRY!

On Saturday and Sunday, we are the only accommodation guest, the whole restaurant and galley team were there to serve two people (Marco, the restaurant supervisor took care of our breakfast). They could have chosen not to take our reservation but it didn't happen. I am speechless.

We make use of the Academic Resources Centre to work on our project. The ARC even has a quiet room. EXCELLENT!

It was a quiet weekend in campus – no weddings, no parties. We literally stayed in a huge private estate.

The campus and the Thames are simply beautiful – at all times.

I give it a “six-star” - accommodation experience beyond compare.
