“A Charming Treat Serving Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014

I twice enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Rouge this past week. The English traditionally do a great breakfast, but this French interpretation was the best of the week.

Both occasions, I ordered an English breakfast and I was anything but disappointed. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, beans, blood sausage, and toast - exquisite!

Service was very prompt and very courteous. Decor had a subtle, yet definite French influence. My table was by the front window and I enjoyed a nice view of the beautiful main street coming into Henley. A great people watching venue. On a warmer day, I would have selected an outdoor table.

Prices:
£7.95 for English Breakfast
£2.55 for a glass of fresh orange juice
£2.35 for a bottle of still water

Highly recommended

“Great value and atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2014 via mobile

We use Cafe Rouge in Henley quite often. The atmosphere at weekends is brilliant. As regulars we often get 40% off food which makes it extremely reasonable? The quality of the food is consistently good and the service is super. Weekday evenings tend to be rather quiet with less atmosphere but the quality of the food doesn't change. The staff really want to please and usually do so for us.

“Shocking”

This is the worst cafe rouge I have ever been to, no wonder the weatherspoons up the road is so busy. Expected more for a restaurant that is in Henley

“Our favourite Cafe Rouge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 December 2013

Lucy and Fatima are sisters who are usually on duty lunchtimes. They are really great people and always seem happy. They are too good for this place but make it a pleasure to go and sample the consistent food.
We are fans of Café Rouge having been to Windsor, Oxford, Reading, Gerrards Cross and Portsmouth. All are good . Never been disappointed yet at any of them. How does this chain do it?
