“A day is not enough”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

The upgraded museum is excellent. Spent a couple of hours just doing the Chinese section. There is a great cafe for tea and cakes for when the legs get tired

“Amazing”
Reviewed 10 March 2014 via mobile

Fantastic museum. The staff were so helpful and we finished our visit with a great coffee on the top floor terrace, overlooking Oxford. A definite must see in Oxford.

“Amazing museum full of treasures”

An unmissable museum in Oxford. Beautiful building, very varied exhibits, allow plenty of time. A wonderful way to spend some time when the weather is inclement.

“Always worth a visit when in Oxford..”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

...even if only for a short time. The current March 2014 (free) small exhibition 'A Bestiary of Jewels' is outstanding.

Always so much to see at The Ashmolean and the displays are so thoughtful and stimulating.

“All the history under one roof”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

This was the first time i saw a museum so technologically advanced and friendly. A trip to Oxford is incomplete without a trip to this museum. They have all sorts of facilities like audio guides, maps, etc.
