We popped into the museum as it was raining, but found ourselves having a wonderful time in there. Would definately recommend a visit, and will be going back with my son.

This is well worth a visit. It is not crowded and there are a good variety of exhibits. We went on a Thursday. If you are driving the park and ride is good value and if you are retired your local bus pass gives you free travel into the city centre. The museum is just a short walk. The food was good and water is free so do not buy the bottled variety.

A "must - see" for all art, history or archaeology lovers.
It's not as big as the British museum, and is just the size which allows you to walk around its great exhibitions and visit other parts of Oxford without falling of your legs.

The museum has plenty to see and you do not have to leave it to find food as they have their own cafe, which was great value.
