Great venue for an exceptional event. Very classy surroundings for a very classy lady. Something wonderful to see in every corner of this superb building...inside as well as outside.

Have been here on a number of occasions and the theatre itself is worthy of the visit alone, regardless of the subject you have bought tickets to see. A very intimate feeling theatre. Lovely!

Check the Oxford events website to see if anything is going on at the Sheldonian during your visit. If youre lucky enough to find an event, like a concert, you will LOVE this experience!! If you come another time, ask if you can go up to the cupola which has a magnificent view of the city.

Designed by Christoper Wren this is a stunning building with a spanned roof so big it continues to amaze. The ceiling was restored a couple of years ago and is wonderful.
