I've been up this tower before but a good 7 years ago now and took the boyfriend on his birthday weekend. The climb is not pleasant once you're in the tower bit as it's quite tight and on a very hot day it's quite stuffy. However, on a day with clear blue skies, the view is so so worth it! The best way to see the dreaming spires as you're right in the heart of Oxford's beautiful buildings. One minor niggle would be that I couldn't get student price because I wasn't an Oxford University student. I wouldn't mind this rule if it was standard across all their university buildings but I'd just been given student entry price to the university's botanical garden so feel they should be consistent across sites.
