Its tricky finding a hotel in Oxford if you are driving a car. Finding a car park in Oxford is expensive and sometimes tricky - especially if you've come to view the museums and colleges and want to spend a half-day or more in the city.
I can't solve the parking dilemma - probably a good idea to use park-n-ride. This hotel solves the problem of parking your car on site and then being able to find somewhere decent to eat without jumping back in a car (or taking a cab or bus ride). There are plenty of decent eateries within half a mile of the hotel - you are almost spoiled for choices.
The reception and hotel staff are really great and welcoming. Breakfast offers plenty of variety and is constantly kept topped-up.
The only downside is the room is snug, not sure glass doors on a bathroom are such a great idea (let's the early morning light into the bedroom!) and the road can be busy outside. Pluses include a decent bed and pillows, great bed linen and a super breakfast. The big difference is the people working here! SuperbMore
