Owner description: The main buildings at Hertford College are linked together by a corridor called the "Bridge of Sighs," built in 1913-14 and named after the Ponte dei Sospiri in Venice.

It'll take you a couple of minutes to take a picture and move on. It's on your way so an extra trip is not needed. That's about it really.

Makes a wonderful photo from either side. Not sure if you can actually go inside but we didn't. Really beautiful structure.

You'll pass under this bridge if you do the self walking tour. Quite impressive and worth a couple of pics but that's it really. You can see the similarity to the Venice bridge although there is actually no link between them. The Oxford bridge connects two college buildings.

What's not to like? An early 20th century masterpiece linking two parts of the finest college in the finest university ever known!
