Access to this college is free from 2-5 pm. As a Morse fan It was amazing. Sat listening to a choir for an hour then wandered into the gardens which were beautiful with glorious high walled views and a small fish pond at the bottom of the garden. Escaped from the hustle bustle of Oxford into tranquility for an hour and a half. Highly recommend it.

Visited this college as I was taking official guided tour and was very pleased. Lovely courtyard, stunning chapel and nice spot for taking pictures in back garden. Visited two more colleges while in Oxford and liked this one the most.

1) quaint is the word for Exeter! It has everything, beautiful and little.
2) Porters are very nice too, so pop in and say hi!
3) the Front quad is in front of you when you walk in, go through the door opposite you on the other side of the Front quad, you will enter the fellows Garden. Best view of the Boldonian library!

The chapel is AMAZING. The buildings capture the antiquity of Oxford. Visit the banquet hall where students eat: high ceilings, dark beams, paintings of educators from long ago, long tables. Seven hundred hears of education continue in a welcoming milieu.

I have lectured at Exeter three times over the years. It is a wonderful little college next to the Radcliffe Camera Bodleian Library. The inspiring chapel was inspired by the magnificent St Chapelle in Paris. It is one of the smaller colleges at Oxford but is well worth an excursion.
