Really good proper cooking. Lots of veggie choices and not too salty. We had a takeaway, it was delivered to time and with two free side dishes.

Three of us ate there early and it far surpassed our expectations. If you are looking for a far more authentic Asian meal that has bags of flavour ( not just heat ) this is for you. Non

We had the curry of the day ( chicken with black eyed beans) which was wonderful along with a lovely fresh tasting cauliflower dish. The onion bhaji was wonderful - crisp , light and not at all greasy. The service was good - friendly and helpful. We hope to return on our next visit to Oxford.

Dear Rosemary,

We really appreciate your kind comments.

The chicken with the black eyed beans was the special of the night and it was the first time we had done this one. We are very pleased to hear you enjoyed it.

We look forward to seeing you again when you're in Oxford next!

Kind regards,
Hamza

Qumins is good, although can be inconsistent at times. When it's good though it is spot on and one of my faves. They make a great chicken Karai and service is very efficient and friendly.

We put ourselves in the hands of our waiter at Qumins... and he nailed it!!
The starter was spiced chicken liver, with a beautiful, pillowy 'puri' bread - which were simply delicious.
Mains were 'Handi' pot-cooked chicken, and Keralan fish with South Indian spices. Both were fabulous.
If you're looking for inventive, authentic Indian cuisine that rocks with flavour - try Qumins.

4 of us had lunch at Quimins based in St Clements in east Oxford. The restaurant is very modern in design and the food was excellent. I would recommend the methi, I had lamb which was full of rich flavours. The special rice was good. The other dishes were well received and had glowing compliments, lamb rogan gosht, chicken korma and duck dhansak. Every day they serve a chicken on the bone special cooked with various different vegetables. I would definitely visit again, well recommended. £71 for 4 including drinks and side dishes and breads.

Hi Graham,

Many thanks for your review and your kind comments about our food. We are very pleased to hear you had a nice lunch here at Qumins.

The chicken on the bone special you mention is our "Handi" curry which means our pot cooked curry of the night. We do this every day so every night there is somehting different. Just to let you know though, it can also differ from Chicken. We do Lamb, Beef, Fish and veg specials some nights too! You can always give us a call beforehand to find out what we have tonight.

We hope to see you again soon!

Kind regards,
Hamza
