Been visiting here for the past few months, and regularly too! What an amazing restaurant. Family run by father and two sons and you can tell how passionate they are. The food bursts with so much flavour, and each bite tastes even better. Have tried many dishes there now and none have disappointed. Great meat and veggie dishes. Always happy to help and recommend a new curry if you fancy something different. Atmosphere is lovely. Always a good buzz and the staff are wonderful and accommodating. Highly recommended and the best indian restaurant in Oxford by a mile.

Arrived at 11pm on a Friday to be told that the restaurant was closed despite a closing time of 1130. Never again.

Hi Adrian,

Apologises for not being able to accomadate you this time round, but having a table this late is something we can't do as it is near impossible to sit down, drink, and eat and be finished by 11:30pm.

We hope we can accomdate you next time and for you to be able to review us fairly based on our food, and service.

Kind regards,
Hamza

My bf and I had the handi special Curry (mutton) £15, poppadoms for 2 £4, glass of wine, cobra pint on tap, pashwari naan and pilau rice... came to £35... not the cheapest but we'll worth the money. The quality was great and every element was faultless. The staff were enthusiastic and friendly. We had a great Friday night dinner. they also do 50% mon-thurs with a taste card which is great. Really love this place and would absolutely recommend.

Hi!

Thanks for your review. We really appreciate your feeback. We're glad you liked our special of the night. We're always changing it every night so our customers can get a true taste of what a pot cooked curry should taste like! The mutton one is one of my favourites!

We hope to see you again soon!

Many thanks
Hamza

We popped in for a quick pre-cinema dinner, and were blown away by the quality of the food. We eat Indian food a lot and this is some of the best we've ever eaten; lots of variety, really fresh flavours, succulent meat, lots of tasty veggie options, generous portions of rice. Also very reasonably priced with nice touches like hot towels and chocolates after the meal. Will definitely be back soon and highly recommend.

We went as soon as the restaurant opened on a Sat night despite not having a reservation. The staff was energetic and responsive. The food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend starting off with the papadum and pickles plate. It is wonderful and a preview of the fresh and flavorful food to come. We had tandoori and butter chicken. The kids loved their side dishes which were the perfect size along with a mango lassi. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.
