This is the second time we have stayed with the Appartments in Oxford. The first time we had a party of five and an equally enjoyable stay. Even with a one room appartment we still got an ensuite and another full bathroom. Everything was bright, modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen really is fully loaded with everything a person could possibly want, even a food mixer, which I didn't expect. They also had a coffee maker, something I cannot do without.

Adding to this quiet city center location was the joy of personalby and extremely courteous and helpfull staff. There is a twentyfour hour service and the place is very secure with parking. What we got was far better than any hotel, with superior standards throughout and a price tag of less than we paid for similar accomadation in the center at a previous stay. This place is a gem for overseas visitors with higher standards. These guys really deliver. Actually, five stars is a mean rating. I would give them ten on a poor day. If I were in the area again, I would not hesitate to rebook.

It was very old, but very interesting! Much history there... Very beautiful and pleasant stay. And the rest of the surrounding were lively and aglow with both curiosity and concentration alike!

This place looks like its been furnished by Argos in the late 80's. Grubby carpets, cheap fittings, old small 4:3 telly, rubbish tiny two-seater sofa. They describe this place as luxury. it was so bad that we left after an hour. Oh, and the rate? £140 a night! LAUGHABLE.

Booked a number of apartments (2 and 1 bed) for the weekend.
Accomodation was lovely except for the one apartment where my nephew got bitten too pieces by bed bugs and our apartment which reeked of smoke.
Complained to managment and had one apartment refunded and got a slight discount to stay there again on the other one???Not likely to stay there again ....especially with bed bugs..should be a health hazard.

I stayed at the Oxford Apartments recently with three friends. We couldn't have been more delighted with the accommodation. Our apartment had two decent sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge/diner and a fully equipped kitchen. It was spotlessly clean and we had maid service every day.
The apartment block is set in a very pretty courtyard in St Thomas Street which is literally 5 minutes walk from the city centre and situated right next to Oxford Castle. You couldn't have invented a better position! Car parking was very secure within the courtyard. Staff in the reception area were friendly and helpful at all times. All in all, I would recommend the Oxford Apartments highly.

When we got to oxford we had a hard time finding the Apts., we called the front desk twice, and the girl answering really didn't know where they were located. Instead of giving the phone to someone else she gave us the general directions. Fortunately our taxi driver had the good sense to track down a mail man and he gave better directions. The girl at the front desk did the same with our friends we were meeting there. She told them the wrong bus stop to get off on, (instead of the one they should of gotten off at) around the corner. They had to walk several miles with their luggage and ask several times to find it. When we all arrived, we found out the girl was new, from France and didn't really know where she was. The apts. were fine, the rooms are REALLY small. There is no place to put you luggage. There is not room for a dresser or anything like that. The twin beds in the second room are extra narrow. I've never seen any like that. The room is so small, you can't open the closet. The master room had a double bed and we had to put our luggage in front of the door which led to the courtyard - so we couldn't use that door. My biggest complaint was that there was no airconditioning. In the ads they suggest there is air - but it's not in the apartments, only in the lobby. We did get our hands on a couple of fans, but they ran out and our friends only got one. At first I was really disappointed , but realized that most of the hotels in Oxford are the same - and started to warm up the the hotel. The location is a little out of the way and you do a little walking. But, the price is good and it was VERY clean. Be aware that the check out time is 11 am and they would not budge on that. It's a problem, because we were moving our daughter into here dorm room and they weren't open until 1. All in all it was OK. We enjoyed having our friends across the hall and having a living room. We stayed in one night and watched the world cup and drank and snacked with them. It was fun.
