We stayed here recently with our 10 month old son (the 1st time we had stayed away from home with him so we weren't sure how it was going to go). On face value this was a very good hotel, convenient location to city centre and easy to get on/off the motorway with 24hour Tesco across the ring road, beefeater right next door so easy to get breakfast, lunch and dinner, staff were very pleasant both in the hotel and restaurant and were happy to accommodate our requirements for our baby. Room itself was a good size and nice and clean, during our stay the window handle broke off but the maintenance team fixed this the same day, no problem.

Just a couple of issues that would make us re-think staying here again, we were on the ground floor in the annexe quite close to the main door which every time someone came in and out of the door there was a huge bang, the sound proofing in the rooms is terrible and we were kept up most of the second night by what can only be described as a herd of elephants walking around in the room upstairs which disturbed both us and our little one. Finally the only other niggle was that the room was very hot during our stay and there isn't really anyway of cooling the room down, there is a temperature control panel in the room but it says this isn't for 'cooling' and it didn't appear to make any difference to the overall temp of the room when we adjusted this.

Overall, as the title says, it depends what you are looking for, for a couple wanting a good value room with easy access to city centre it would be okay, for a family with young children, probably not......

Modern and clean although bathroom grout could do with attention. Price ok for Oxford . Breakfast one of the worst ever had in a premier iInn. Not enough staff in breakfast area. There was loads of noise in the car park in the early morning not sure what it was May not have been hotel's fault. Bed was quite firm I thought it was fine my husband had a bad nights sleep so really depends how you like your bed. We stayed here because it was about £20 cheaper than the holiday inn which was the same distance from the centre if Oxford and we wish we had spent the extra £20

Great location for our stay in oxford, clean friendly hotel, with great staff who were always happy to help. Fire alarm went off due to guest smoking in their room but the staff handled it quickly with minimal fuss.

Great example of a premier inn. Friendly efficient check in , good clean room with a nice comfy bed. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the room was and got a great nights sleep. The breakfast was buffer style and good

The overall experience was made much better by the fact the rates for this location seem to be a little cheaper and therefore great value.

Stayed in this hotel as a birthday visit for my wife to visit Oxford. Probably the best Premier Inn we have stayed at. Excellent service - Clean & tidy room - Comfortable beds - Great price. Room temperature adjustable to choice. Good buffet breakfast in adjacent Beefeater, eat as much as you want :o)
Would definitely recommend. Only downside is that it may be possible to hear your neighbours upstairs. We did!

Excellent service. Friendly caring staff, who were also very efficient. Good restaurant service and lovely food. We all had a good night's sleep. The bedrooms were comfortable and modern, with excellent facilities. 30 mins free WiFi in ROOMS was useful. Unlimited WiFi in the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay.
